The ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND Asia Open 2025 Finals, also known simply as eXTREMESLAND 2025, is the final big Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) LAN event of the year. The tournament features a solid $150,000 prize pool, with some of the best teams from Asia competing.
The annual series is also notoriously tricky to call. We’ve accepted the challenge to create our eXTREMESLAND 2025 power rankings in an attempt to predict the outcome of this CS2 event accurately.

eXTREMESLAND 2025 Power Rankings: Top Four Predictions
In our eXTREMESLAND 2025 power rankings, we have a laser-sharp focus on predicting the top four teams who will set the stage alight in China from December 18 to 21, 2025.
Despite the absence of those valuable bookmaker odds at the time of writing, we’ve made these eXTREMESLANDS 2025 predictions as accurate as possible through diligent research and expert analysis. We also considered Valve Regional Standings (VRS), both globally and for the Asia region.
For well-rounded predictions, we noted any recent roster changes that could affect performance. Last but not least, we considered a potential home-crowd advantage on LAN for the Chinese teams in attendance.

Lynn Vision Gaming (#1)
With longtime Lynn Vision Gaming rifler Niu “westmelon” Zhe leading the charge (joined more than eight years ago), the squad has found strong form. Lynn Vision Gaming recently showcased their big-match temperament at ESL Challenger League Season 50 Asia-Pacific Finals, beating Rare Atom with a 3-2 score in the Grand Final.
There’s confidence that the team can go all the way. With no roster changes since adding Su “C4LLM3SU3” Qihao on February 21, 2025, they’ve grown as a squad, honing their individual skills and teamwork.
Lynn Vision Gaming is the highest-ranked team at eXTREMESLAND 2025, ranked #34 globally on the VRS leaderboard and #3 in Asia.
Lynn Vision Gaming roster:
- Zhang “z4kr” Sike
- Tang “EmiliaQAQ” Junjie
- Ye “Starry” Lizhi
- Su “C4LLM3SU3” Qihao
- Niu “westmelon” Zhe (IGL)
- Dai “GUM” Yifei (Coach)
Rare Atom (#2)
Just like Lynn Vision Gaming, Rare Atom bombed out of the StarLadder Budapest Major Stage 1 in last place, with a 0-3 record. The squad is currently ranked #63 on the global VRS leaderboard and #5 in Asia.
On December 10, 2025, the 32-year-old veteran Tzu-Chi “Marek” Huang parted ways with Rare Atom. In his place comes an exciting 18-year-old addition, Shengxuan “chengking” Zu. In a statement on December 11, the Rare Atom noted how the roster move will “inject fresh blood” into the roster, bringing “greater vitality and possibilities.”
eXTREMESLAND 2025 is Shengxuan “chengking” Zu’s debut LAN with Rare Atom, having previously played on FengDa. It’s an exciting roster move, which could propel Rare Atom to new heights.
That’s why Rare Atom is #2 on our eXTREMESLAND 2025 power rankings, as we predict they’ll make it all the way to the Grand Final on December 21, then narrowly lose to Lynn Vision Gaming.
Rare Atom roster:
- Li “L1haNg” Yihang
- Peng “ChildKing” Junhao
- Zheng “TiGeR” Junhao
- Shengxuan “chengking” Zu
- Cai “Summer” Yulun (IGL)
- Liu “z8z” Zhenghui (Coach)
Chinggis Warriors (#3)
Ranked #8 in Asia and #97 globally, Chinggis Warriors is one of the strongest teams competing at eXTREMESLAND 2025.
The Mongolian side showed off their skills at the MESA Pro Series 2025: Road to eXTREMESLAND, narrowly losing to The Huns Esports in the Grand Final. As luck would have it, The Huns Esports had to withdraw from eXTREMESLAND 2025’s main event due to a scheduling conflict, and Chinggis Warriors filled the spot.
In October, Chinggis Warriors lost IGL Unudelger “controlez” Baasanjargal to The MongolZ, and added the young Zolbayar “Tikuak” Chimedtseren (from The MongolZ’s academy team) to their roster.
Chinggis Warriors recently claimed the ESL Challenger League Season 50 Asia-Pacific Cup 4 trophy. The roster change may be what the Mongolian side needed to push for a podium finish at eXTREMESLAND 2025.
Chinggis Warriors roster:
- Undrakhbayar “ROUX” Zolbayar
- ugs-Erdene “efire” Erdenebold
- Yalalt “yAmi” Oyunbileg
- Sodbileg “cool4st” Batbaatar
- Zolbayar “Tikuak” Chimedtseren
- Munkh-Ochir “Redka” Myagmarsuren (Coach)
Change The Game (#4)
Our final pick as the fourth team in these eXTREMESLAND 2025 power rankings is Change The Game. The Chinese team is ranked #128 globally and #12 in Asia on the VRS.
Change The Game recently placed 4th at ESL Challenger League Season 50 Asia-Pacific Cup 4 and 5th-8th at Perfect World CS Challenge Series 2, taking maps from strong regional teams.
At the eXTREMESLAND 2025 Chinese qualifier, Change The Game earned the third and final spot in the main event. The squad showed solid mechanical play and even gave Lynn Vision Gaming a run for their money. That’s why we believe Change The Game can make the Playoffs and possibly secure a podium finish at eXTREMESLAND 2025.
Change The Game roster:
- Lai “LaiKeXu” Kexu
- Zhu “957” Jianping
- Su “zero” Jingshen
