The latest episode just dropped as FISSURE Universe returns with Episode 6, the latest in FISSURE’s top Dota 2 tournament series. Pitting 10 of the top teams from around the globe against each other in what will be the last and final top-tier Dota 2 competition before The International 2025. So without further ado, here’s everything you need to know about FISSURE Universe: Episode 6.

FISSURE Universe: Episode 6 is the latest installment in FISSURE’s premier competitive Dota 2 series, taking place from August 19–24, 2025 and serving as the final Tier 1 event ahead of TI14, The International 2025. The tournament brings together ten of the world’s top professional teams and gives fans one last chance to see elite-level play before the biggest event of the year.
Held online on European West servers, the tournament begins with a group stage between August 19 and 22.
FISSURE Universe: Episode 6 matches will be available live on FISSURE’s official Twitch channels from March 22-30 .
The ten teams are divided into two groups of five and play a round-robin format, with all matches played as best-of-two. The first-place team in each group qualifies to the upper bracket of the playoffs, the second- and third-place teams advance to the lower bracket, and the remaining teams are eliminated.
From August 23 to 24, the remaining teams fight their way through a double-elimination playoff bracket. All playoff games are best-of-three until the Grand Final, which is a best-of-five.

In any other situation, we’d have to say that Team Spirit were the favorites heading into this event. But after the surprising announcement just a day before the tournament that Denis “Larl” Sigitov would be missing the tournament, their chances may be shot.
Instead, we’d look to Team Falcons, Tundra Esports, or PARIVISION. However, we’re dealing with one of the most stacked periods of Dota 2, perhaps in history, and it’s hard to count out Liquid, BB Team and others.
Ultimately, it’s whether you trust Spirit to perform even with a stand-in, or one of the teams snapping at their heels to step up and win.

A $250,000 prize pool is on the line, with $125,000 going to the winner.
With top squads like Team Spirit, BetBoom, Team Liquid, and Gaimin Gladiators in attendance, Episode 6 is widely considered the final major “form check” before TI 2025. Many analysts see this as a chance for teams to test new strategies in a high-pressure setting.
