Honor of Kings Major League East (KME) & West (KMW): Who Are The Teams?

Below is a list of all the teams that are taking part in both Major East & West League Spring 2025. Four teams from each region are a part of the Honor of Kings esports partnership program.

What is the format of the inaugural Honor of Kings Major League Spring 2025?

The format for both tournaments is the same, with both events taking place parallelly in Malaysia from April 17 until May 3. The tournament is split into three critical phases:

Group Stage: Ranking Week

• This phase will take place from April 17th until April 20th. Within this part of the tournament, there will be a single round-robin format, where all seven teams must face each other once.
• All the games will be best-of-3 series.
• The top three teams from the Ranking Week phase of the tournament will qualify for Group S. The bottom four teams will qualify for Group A.

Group Stage: Survival Week:

• The next phase of the tournament is the survival week. This will take place from April 24 to 27. This event phase will be a double round-robin format where teams within Group S and Group A will play each other twice.
• During this, all matches will be a Best of 5 series.
• The teams that finish in the top two within Group S will qualify for the upper-bracket finals in the playoffs stage of the event. The team in 3rd place will be eligible for the Lower Bracket Semifinals.
• Within Group A, the team that finishes on top after survival week will take the second spot in the Lower Bracket Semifinals. The bottom three teams in Group A will be eliminated from the league.

Playoffs Phase

• The last stage of the event is the playoff phase. Within this, teams will play in a double-elimination format. All matches will be best-of-5 series.

What is at stake in the Honor of Kings Major League Spring 2025?

The team that finishes first in both the Honor of Kings Major League East (KME) & West (KMW) will secure a spot in the upcoming Honor of Kings World Cup (KMC) 2025, which will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in July 2025. This will be a part of the Esports World Cup.

The teams that finish 2nd in the Honor of Kings Major East & West League Spring 2025 will face off against each other in an event called Last Call. This match will take place on May 4. The winning team of this match will secure the third spot for the KMC.

Besides this, there is a prize pool of $50,000 on the line in each league. Below is a breakdown of the prize pool split:

• 1st place: $10,000
• 2nd place: $8,500
• 3rd place: $7,000
• 4th place: $6,500
• 5th to 7th place: $6,000 each
