IEM Dallas 2025 is here, bringing Counter-Strike back to the United States as a warmup act for the BLAST Austin Major. With a prize pool of $1,000,000 up for grabs, the event (held between May 19th and 25th) will bring 16 teams together to the server to compete for glory.

IEM Dallas 2025 will be host to most of the best CS2 teams in the world, although close proximity to PGL Astana 2025 has meant that some teams have had to prioritize one over the other. Last year’s champions G2 are back to defend their title, although it will a much different lineup to the one that completed the G2 miracle of IEM Dallas 2024. After completing the ESL Grand Slam at IEM Melbourne and following it up with another win at BLAST Rivals, it’s impossible to look past Vitality as the favorites to win IEM Dallas 2025. They’ll lose eventually, but until that happens, you have to peg them as the top dogs to win every event they attend. Runners-up at IEM Dallas 2024, this is an opportunity for revenge and to get their first notch in the next ESL Grand Slam Season.
But how can you ignore Falcons? After two Grand Final appearances in a row with m0NESY in the lineup, they’re knocking on the door of toppling the Vitality machine. It’s only a matter of time before Falcons get over the line, and remember, both NiKo and m0NESY were a key reason G2 were able to complete their miracle run at last year’s IEM Dallas event.
