The strongest Dota 2 teams at PGL Wallachia Season 4
After three seasons of PGL Wallachia and many Dota 2 tournaments in 2025, we have our fair share of opinions on which are the strongest Dota 2 teams. BetBoom Team and Gaimin Gladiators proved their strengths at the recent FISSURE Universe Episode 4 as champions and runner-up winners.
Meanwhile, if we are basing merits by only past PGL Wallachia events, Team Liquid, HEROIC, Tundra Esports, Team Falcons, Team Spirit and even Xtreme Gaming have earned a top-two finish in previous PGL Wallachia series.
Dota 2 Esports has been so competitive in 2025, that it’s difficult for any one team to claim they are the strongest. For instance, we saw Tundra Esports’ rise to fame after winning two tournaments, only for them to remove Anton ” dyrachyo ” Shkredov and their performance diminished.
At this state, it’s anyone’s game to win PGL Wallachia Season 4, but it’s definitely between BetBoom Team, Team Liquid, Gaimin Gladiators, Team Spirit and Team Falcons .
Aurora Gaming’s new roster debut at PGL Wallachia S4
One of the few direct invites which baffled Dota 2 fans was Aurora Gaming’s, considering their season has been underwhelming and they had a new Dota 2 roster.
Well, turns out that Dota 2 roster might just be all the reason why PGL invited Aurora Gaming in the first place. Dubbed the new Team Spirit of Eastern European region, Aurora Gaming features two ex-Team Spirit players, Myroslav ” Mira ” Kolpakov and Alexander ” TORONTOTOKYO ” Khertek. And, if you follow the Dota 2 scene closely, you would be familiar with Egor ” Nightfall ” Grigorenko and Gleb ” kiyotaka ” Zyryanov too.
Aurora Gaming’s line-up of seasoned Dota 2 players make it one of the most anticipated Dota 2 teams to compete at PGL Wallachia S4 and fans are excited. Their most recent play at PGL Wallachia S3 earned them a fifth-place finish, so they have a lot to prove in this one too.
Nigma’s comeback at PGL Wallachia Season 4
Nigma is by no means a top-tier powerhouse in 2025, but it’s nice to know that they are improving. Nigma earned their slot in PGL Wallachia S4 via qualifying the Western European Qualifier, where other notable opponents include, Gaimin Gladiators, OG, Team Secret and Yakult Brothers. As such, Nigma could potentially be the dark horse going into PGL Wallachia S4 with such incredible results.
All in all, PGL Wallachia S4 is all set to be one of the best Dota 2 tournaments to watch in 2025. With such incredible production quality and incredible line-up, we can enjoy some good Dota 2 action, featuring the latest Dota 2 Patch 7.38c
