VCT Ascension Pacific is slated to take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, from Sept. 13 to 23. The top 10 teams from the various VALORANT Challengers Leagues (VCL) in the Pacific region will participate in this tournament. Here is everything you need to know about the VCT Ascension Pacific 2024

VCT Ascension Pacific 2024 will be broadcast live worldwide on Twitch and YouTube. Similar to the VCT Masters Shanghai, fans can also watch the event from upcoming VCT offline watch parties worldwide. Various VALORANT Creators will also host their watchparties on their respective channels.
As VCT Ascension Pacific is a significant event for the Pacific region, there will also be multiple official streams from VALORANT, where fans can watch matches in various regional languages such as Hindi, Malay, Korean, and even Japanese.
During VCT Ascension 2024, the top 10 teams from the Pacific region will be present. These teams will have won their respective regions’ VALORANT Challengers League split 2. Previously, the tournament would take place in two phases: the Group Stage and the Playoffs Stage. Each group will have five teams and will compete in a modified GSL best-of-three bracket. Following the change of venue to Jakarta, the tournament has a new format. The event will take place in a double-bracket format.

Looking at the image above, one might notice that certain teams have received a bye. This is due to the region’s performance during the last season of VCT Pacific Ascension. Each team will have to play a minimum of two matches before they are knocked out of the tournament. The lower bracket finals and the Grand Finals will be the only fixtures at the event that will be a B05 series. The remaining matches will be a B03 series.

VCT Ascension was introduced back in 2023. Since then, there has only been one iteration of the event. In the VCT Ascension Pacific 2023, held in Bangkok, Thailand, Bleed Esports won the tournament to earn a slot at the partnership league.
