This year, the tournament is set to take place online and has a prize pool of $37,521. At this event, the best teams from EMEA face off for a spot in the upcoming VALORANT Game Changers EMEA Stage 2.

  • Stage 2 of the VALORANT Game Changers EMEA will consist of Group Stages and Playoffs.
  • The Group Stage will take place from May 26 until June 11. All 10 teams will be in one group. The group will face off in a single round robin format, with each match being a best-of-three series.
  • The top six teams will qualify for the playoffs. The top two teams from the group stage will receive a bye to the Upper Bracket Semifinals. The remaining four teams will play in the Knockout Round of the playoffs.
  • The playoffs stage will have a hybrid format. The first round will be the knockout round. This will be a single elimination round, with two teams qualifying for the Upper Bracket Semifinals. Following this, the tournament will follow a double bracket format.
  • All matches will be a best-of-three, except for the grand and lower bracket finals, which will follow a best-of-five format.

History of the VALORANT Game Changers EMEA

The first season of VALORANT Game Changers EMEA took place in 2021. During that time, the season was split into three splits. The team must finish with the highest points within these splits to secure a spot in the VALORANT Game Changers World Championship.

During the 2022 season, Guild GC secured the win and earned their spot in the GC World Championship. The 2023 edition was won by BBL Queens.

During the 2024 season, Riot Games introduced a kickoff event to increase the length of the season. The top 8 teams from this event secured a spot during the GC 2024 EMEA Stage 1.

Riot Games introduced the Game Changers EMEA: Contenders Series during this season. Within this new team, you could participate in a qualifier tournament to secure a GC EMEA Stage 2 spot. The 2025 season of VALORANT Game Changers EMEA will follow the same format as the 2024 season.
