Apex Legends Ranks | The route to Apex Predator
If you’re looking to climb the Apex Legends ranks, it’s important to actually understand the ranking system. The game’s competitive mode is divided into different tiers that measure your skill level and progress.
All Apex Legends Ranks
Apex Legends has eight primary ranks. Rookie, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, and Apex Predator.
Each rank, except for Apex Predator, has four divisions that you need to progress through to advance to the next tier.

Bronze is your starting point for a fresh account, even if you’ve had several wins in casual queue. Apex Predator is reserved for the top 750 players in the game.
Unlike other games that have top ranks for their queues, Apex Legends does not segregate by region for its top 750 rankings. With the game on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and Mobile, the Predators are isolated per Apex Legends platforms, allowing for 750 players on PC, 750 on Xbox, 750 on PlayStation and so on.
How to Rank Up in Apex Legends
Ranking up requires earning Ranked Points (RP), which are awarded based on your performance in matches. The higher you place and the more kills you get, the more RP you earn. However, each match costs RP to enter, so consistency is key if you want to climb the Apex ranks. Rather than losing a nebulous amount on each loss with things out of your control, RP functions somewhat as a currency for each ranked season.

Why do people care about ranked?
Your rank not only reflects your skill level but also affects matchmaking, placing you against players of similar abilities. You should, in theory, be matched into games with players of a similar skill level. Reaching the lowest ranks of Diamond puts you in the 1% of all Apex Legends players!
So, gear up, communicate with your squad, and start your climb through the ranks!
