New Tekken 8 Demo Coming to All Platforms

Tekken 8 is one of the biggest upcoming fighting games right now. Scheduled to drop early next year, we’re getting really close to the release date now. players have had chances to play in early access so far. This won’t be the end of the early fighting though, this week a brand-new Tekken 8 demo has launched. Rather than a test period, this is a full trial of what we can experience with the full game.

2023 has been a big year for fighting games — and there’s already loads of upcoming fighting games. We’ve seen titles like Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1 release, but Tekken is getting a fresh release next year too. Tekken 8 is the latest in the series with a big leap forward. We know quite a bit about what’s coming but this new demo will let people on every platform get involved before release.

New Tekken 8 Demo Releasing

The new Tekken 8 demo has been announced and made available across all platforms. It originally dropped earlier in December for PlayStation, but the demo is now available across most platforms. Players can jump in PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam over the coming weeks. This new demo is pretty expansive too.

It’s not just a trial zone to test out a few characters in battles. We’re getting the first Chapter of the story mode. In the past, Tekken Story Modes have been a fun addition to the game. We’re getting our first taste of what’s coming with the new game this week. Players will get to see Chapter 1, The Dark Awakens in the demo. That’s along with the first section of Arcade Quest, Super Ghost Battle, Versus Mode, and Gallery Mode.

Thus, the Tekken 8 Demo release will give you a full sample of what’s coming in the fresh game. What about the characters, though?

This demo is going to be fun to play through for the coming month. The new Tekken 8 release date is in late January, so after this, we don’t have to wait long before the full title and all the characters are here.
