Fortnite Mobile has had a tumultuous release over the last few years. Most recently though, changes to regulations in the EU have meant the mobile game can come back on iOS, no streaming is needed, and the actual mobile version back. Although, it’s only really available in one region. Can you download Fortnite on iOS outside of EU?
The new season of Fortnite has some crazy new items and crossover skins. However, one original Fortnite character has been added in, and it’s available for free. Well, free if you’re able to download the mobile version of the game which has so far been limited to Europe. Is there any way around this to complete the quests and get access to Fortnite mobile once again?
Can You Download Fortnite on iOS Outside of EU?
No. Epic’s only been able to offer Fortnite on iOS again in the EU thanks to a regulation change. It’s been forced on Apple. They seem to have no desire to bring this change outside of the EU to bring everything inline. Instead, it looks like Fortnite on iOS is only going to be available in Europe right now.

This means that only players in one region can get involved in Fortnite iOS right now. There are some workarounds that players have found, but they’re a bit dicier than most might want to use to download Fortnite on iOS outside of EU. It’s not just a matter of changing your Fortnite settings to a different region, it’s inaccessible outside of an EU device for most people.
The Workaround
It might not be possible in an easy or official way, but there are workarounds. The first is to use a jailbroken iOS device. This is a task that can make it easier to play some games, but also against the terms of service for the device and can cause problems for later repair in some cases.
Another workaround players have used to download Fortnite on iOS outside of EU is to use an Apple Developer Account. This allows you to run apps that aren’t available. Although, an Apple Developer Account actually has a fair price tag, higher than just waiting to buy the free skins by quite a big margin.
These workarounds involve registering for the developer tools. Then you’ll need to track down a Fortnite IPA file, which is kind of difficult on its own. Then, make it a custom app in Apple development tools, then sideload it onto your device. It’s quite an involved process.
Outside of that, there’s no you can download Fortnite on iOS outside of EU. Unfortunately, until they decide to offer third-party marketplaces in other regions there aren’t other ways to access it. Outside of using mobile streaming of course, which still works just for playing Fortnite on mobile.
