FNCS Major 2 Will Find New Fortnite Champions

The FNCS Major 2 2025 is starting up soon! This is the end of Chapter 6 season 2, at least in terms of Fortnite esports. It’s been progressing through the Divisional Cup stages for a while now. Ticking through each week as we narrow down the players who will be competing. However, it’s coming up on the Grand Finals now. How is the whole Major going to work?

The FNCS Major 2 2025 Grand Finals will be running over the course of a single weekend. Events happening in each region, but all over the course of two days. FNCS Major 2 Format

How will FNCS Major 2 be going down? We began with weekly Divisional Cups, where teams fought for qualification. At the moment, we’re moving on to the second stage soon. This Is the Play In. A set of events that round off the Divisional Cups, and confirms the rosters for our lobbies over the weekend.

After the Play In, we move on to the Group Stage. This one goes a bit differently depending on the region. The two bigger regions, EU and NAC, have an extra group. Each round the top Trios move forward to the finals, those who get Victory Royales and the most consistent. Then there’s a Last Chance Qualifier. Here, the teams who just missed out on qualification get one last chance to make it to the Major.

Once all that is over, the FNCS Major 2 Grand Finals can actually begin with the best Fortnite players in each lobby.

FNCS Major 2 Grand Finals

The grand Finals is where things get serious. Each region has its own tournament. A single lobby playing over two days.

Each day has six matches. Players compete for points from placement and kills. With their position on an overall leaderboard deciding where they finish. At the end of the tournament, the winning Trios get prize money but also a slot at the end of year LAN, a huge international event for the whole of Chapter 6.

The exact number of players move on is a bit different depending on the region. In EU, it’s the top five placing teams. However, NAC gets three. Then for NAW, Brazil, Asia, Middle East, and OCE only get the winning team moving forward.
