This weekend, we saw the penultimate round take place for the FNCS Major 3, Semi-Finals. This is the final shot at a slot at the LAN for these players. Perform well here, and they have a chance at the entire year’s esports crown. With so many teams competing for those last few places though this won’t be an easy fight.
After a packed weekend, we’ve seen both the lower and upper FNCS Major 3 Semi-Finals take place. We’ve now got our full list of Duos locked in the finals, but which names dominated their lobbies? Which of the best Fortnite players are already looking strong in Chapter 5 Season 3’s weird meta? This is what happened at the FNCS Major 3 Semi-Finals.

Out of the European players, there are some standouts across the FNCS Major 3 Semi-Finals. We’ve got SwizzY and Vanyak3kk now locked in, as are Setty and Kami in the same Semis. These are two of the strongest Duos in Europe, although with Season 3’s different approach to the meta we could see an upset.
In round one of the EU FNCS Major 2 Semi-Finals, p1ng and Wox definitely stood out. They took first place in this first session. The second round was won by SwizzY and Vanyak3kk, in what’s not the most shocking result after their win in Major 2. The third round saw FiR3hUNTER and Art1st take first, and in the fourth it was Polish and Wojtus.
The FNCS Semi Finals always see teams a bit more spread out though. Now we’ve got all 100 players locked in, we’re set for a stacked final for the biggest C5 S3 Fortnite esports tournament. We’ll have to see how each of these perform once we get through to the Major Final.
