All Chapter 5 Fortnite Character Locations

NPCs have become a major part of the game with recent Fortnite Chapters. They’ve handed out rare exotic weapons, transformed you into a prop, and even join you as a permanent teammate! The Fortnite character locations can be tricky to pin down though. They change all the time, sometimes even outside of the normal update schedule.

If you’re using the same Fortnite landing spots, you might go through an entire season only seeing the same half of the NPCs! Knowing all of the Fortnite Character locations can really expand your options.

The newer Chapters have taken things even further with NPCs. In more recent seasons, we’ve had specialists. These teammates are a lot more useful in games compared to the old hireable NPCs. They’ll actually heal you, ping enemies, and do a lot more to give you an advantage. These NPCs are going to make a much bigger difference in if you win a game or not. They can even be the only way to get one of the best Fortnite Mythics.

Knowing where to find each of the character locations in Fortnite is vital. You can then easily find any resource you need, no matter where you have to rotate through. Knowing exactly where to find NPCs and what services they can offer can give you the edge. This is where you can track down all of them.

Fortnite Character Locations

NPCs have been a part of Fortnite for all seasons after Chapter 2. They move around and change with each new map though. These are all of the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 character locations!

• Artemis – Railway Station outside the Underworld
• Brite Raider – Brutal Beachhead
• Captain Jones – House near dried-up lake, moved from Ship It!
• Centurion – Islands at far north of map.
• Gwen Pool – Reckless Railways
• Heroic Hope – Sandy Steppes
• Iron Man – The Windmill
• Nisha – Train Station above Sandy Steppes
• Rust – Sandy Strip
• Peabody – Pea Boys Landmark
• Peelverine – Outside Restored Reels
• Ruckus – Lil Dirty Dock
• Rust – Reclaimed Villa
• Shuri – East of Nitrodrome
• Triage Trooper – Rescue Station
• War Machine – Train station outside of Doom’s Courtyard

There are only 16 NPCs this season! This is up quite a bit down from last season. Which itself, was quite a lot down from the seasons before. NPCs were trending to be less and less but they’ve gone back up a bit this season.

The NPCs are particularly strange this season though. There are fewer hireable ones. Those on the map generally aren’t selling anything too overpowered, outside of Gwenpool. It’s a big change from past seasons when they were selling Mythic Shotguns.

Specialist NPC Locations

That’s where to find the Fortnite character locations for the normal NPCs. What about the new type of NPC though? The specialists are way more useful as a hired hand. Especially the scan this season, since it offers the same benefit as a medallion with no competition or your position being revealed.

They each have a different function and can provide more to your team than just walking around and getting stuck on walls! These are the NPCs that have become specialists.

• Artemis – Scout Specialist
• Centurion – Supply Specialist
• Ruckus – Heavy Specialist
• Triage Trooper – Medic Specialist

There are fewer Fortnite character locations overall this Chapter, but a handful more this season. If you’re playing Solos, the hireable characters can be especially useful. With a lot of wacky items on the map, the extra teammates can be quite useful.

If you spot these NPCs in the game, they now do specific tasks once you hire them. In more recent seasons you can even give them directions with your pings. These are the types you can find:

• Scout – These characters will scan to ping enemies and loot for you at a distance.
• Supply Specialist – They will drop mats and ammo frequently. Not the most helpful in Zero Builds, but they do throw some bunkers.
• Heavy Specialist – Take fights and throw grenades.
• Medical Specialists – These will throw a Chug Splash on you throughout the game.
