The Vocaloid character has long been one of the most suggested, fitting Fortnite’s metaverse pretty well. According to leakers, she’s now officially in the works! What does it mean though and when will the skin actually release? Now we’ve even started to see teases for the Fortnite Hatsune Miku skin to appear and we have a good idea of the jam tracks that’ll come with it.

This collab took a while to get revealed, with very little substance beyond its existence in Fortnite news. However, we now know quite a bit more. Including when it’s going to arrive in the game, and other items coming too. Most recently Fortnite leakers have revealed a few of the jam tracks that are coming too along with the actual skin itself!

The latest bit of news about the Fortnite Hatsune Miku skin is the one we’ve been waiting for, the reveal of the skin itself. Of course, it isn’t the biggest surprise, everyone roughly knows what Miku looks like. However, there is a second version of the skin which is a bit more surprising.

This is what the full Hatsune Miku skin looks like. It’ll be fun to see this in-game for each of the Fortnite modes once the update hits later this week.

Fortnite Hatsune Miku Skin Is Coming Soon

Fortnite leakers often announce major features in advance, from new collabs to fresh modes launching. While the list of Fortnite collabs is pretty long, there’s one name that players have wanted for a long time that’s just been confirmed by leakers. Apparently, a Fortnite Hatsune Miku is going to come soon.

Hatsune Miku is a vocaloid character, one first released in 2007. In that time, she’s become an iconic character across media, becoming much more than just a vocaloid software. Given the tendency for Hatsune Miku to show up everywhere, from groceries to games, she seems like a natural fit for Fortnite. However, it’s taken until Chapter 6 for the character to even show up in Fortnite leaks.

However, given that Miku is getting two skins, they’re divided up. is a simple item store collab, where you can buy her skin. There will also be a Hatsune Miku skin showing up in Fortnite Festival as a featured artist! That could definitely drive some extra Festival pass purchases compared to some offerings.

What Hatsune Miku Fortnite Jam Tracks are coming?

We know there’s a Fortnite Hatsune Miku skin coming, but what about songs? Since this skin is going to be part of the new Fortnite Festival season, we’re expecting quite a few songs. We don’t have a definitive list yet. However, we are expecting these Hatsune Miku Fortnite songs to come in the Festival season:

Miku is expected to arrive in January, along with other major updates like Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 2. While it will be unlocked through Festival, players can also get experience in this pass just by playing normal Fortnite. So even if the rhythm mode isn’t your thing, it should be simple enough to work through everything.

The Fortnite Festival Pass is also now included in Crew! So if you’re planning on picking up the Fortnite Hatsune Miku skin, it might be a good idea to go in for the January Crew Pack and unlock all the passes at once!

When Does Hatsune Miku Release?

We might not know too much about the Hatsune Miku skin, but according to leakers we have a release window. She’s due to arrive in-game in 2025! Specifically, as the January season of Fortnite Festival! We’re expecting it to come in the time after the January 13th Fortnite update.

Hatsune Miku Fortnite Skin Tease Found In-Game

It looks like we could be getting the skin sooner than though. Especially with the recent spotting of a teaser for the skin in Battle Royale! While a bit strange to anyone unfamiliar with the character, Hatsune Miku fans will definitely recognize these teasers as directly setting things up for the skin.

A Fortnite player on Twitter has tracked down something special in the game after the latest Fortnite update. A leek. The vegetable can currently be found on the floor of the map in a spot! It’s wrapped in some specifically Hatsune Miku branding.

While a leek might not be the firmest evidence to everyone, this is clearly a Hatsune Miku reference. The leek (technically a sping onion) alone would be enough given the character’s links to the food, but with the extra detail, we’re sure this is setting things up for the new skin’s release.
