The next big update on the horizon for Fortnite is the Summer Event 2024. That’s unless Epic repeats last weekend’s stunt of dropping an entire game on a day’s notice. What can we expect from the Fortnite Summer Event 2024?
We’re still a short while away from the update actually hitting. However, thanks to Fortnite leakers and dataminers, we already have a good idea of what we can expect. There are quite a few features that are already set up to launch once the event begins!
When is the Fortnite Summer Event 2024, how long does it last, and when will it hit the game?

This year we’ve seen a decent number of Fortnite leaks letting us know what’s coming with the next event. Dataminers have managed to find the cosmetics and challenges we can expect in the Fortnite Summer Event 2024.
This year, it’s going to be called All Sweat Summer. Fitting since we’ve seen a No Sweat Summer in the past. This seems to imply the Summer event is going to be one for the try-hards. Through datamining, we’ve also got a look at the All Sweat Summer quests players will have to go through. These are the quests that dataminers have found so far:
These quests will be available throughout the Fortnite Summer Event 2024. Some of these do sound a bit tricky though, especially those about winning Fortnite games. With enough time most players should get enough done to get the rewards though.
Those are the quests, but what do you get from them? There’s a decent amount of XP coming for players. However, you’ll also unlock three exclusive cosmetics for completing enough of the Summer quests:

The Fortnite Summer Event in 2024 is supposed to begin in July, specifically on July 1st! This will be when the first round of content comes.
Normally, the Summer event is to cover the period when Epic is away on a break. They take extremely few breaks in the year, with only a couple of two-week periods off. In this time, there aren’t any non-scheduled Fortnite updates though. Usually, it means Epic has planned changes happening frequently.
According to leaks, we’re expecting old items to get unvaulted every few days during the event. This should keep gameplay fresh. Between this and the Reload mode launching, there’s a lot to do over the Fortnite Summer Event 2024.
