Fortnite Winterfest is currently scheduled to take over the game soon. Every year, we get this event. While we haven’t seen any hints about what’s coming outside of a leaked free skin. However, we do have the full Fortnite Winterest 2024 release date!

While Winterfest goes on every year, some years are bigger than others. Although, this year it feels like it’s coming a little later than normal! We are still lined up to get the Fortnite Winterfest 2024 event though. Fortnite leaks point towards it coming quite soon. When exactly will be releasing?

The next Fortnite update seems like it’ll be the start of Winterfest, but it turns on in-game on one specific date. We’ll get Fortnite Winterfest 2024 on December 20th!
We’re getting close to Epic taking its Christmas break for the year, which is normally when we get this event. We can expect it to run for 18 days, which is quite a long one this time. It’s around the time we’re expecting the next Fortnite update too.
We’re still awaiting the launch of Fortnite Winterfest 2024, but we usually know a few details ahead of time. This year it’s been a bit more limited. However, recent years has trended towards fewer and fewer new features for Winterfest. Players don’t usually get a whole bunch of new items anymore.
Last year we got an icey grappler. But this was disabled really quickly since it was completely broken. There’s also the snow on the ground. However, the novelty of that has decreased since the new pattern for Fortnite season ends dates means we get a brand-new map just weeks before Winterfest.

Once thing is for certain, we’ll be getting some presents. Epic always does little giveaways over Christmas. At the moment there are already two free skins, like a Lego one and Mr Dappermint. However, we could see more given away with the start of Fortnite Winterfest 2024. We’ll just have to wait and see what’s planned.
One of the biggest leaks to date about Fortnite Winterfest 2024 has been for a free skin. Every year Epic gives a few away. We’ve already seen some added to promote recent new modes, with a Christmas theme. However, it seems we’re getting at least one more. A Christmas version of Guff has leaked! This skin is quite similar to the Christmas Bushranger we had previously. Essentially, it’s the skin but with a bit of a Christmas theme to it, green leaves and Christmas lights.
We might still get another Fortnite Winterfest 2024 free skin. Although, we’ll have to wait until the next Fortnite update arrives for that.

Yeah, 2 years ago. Dapper is free if you link a lego account to your Epic account. You don’t get anything other than the skin, but it’s still ✨️free✨️. I got the thing right after the update on the 11th and I don’t even want it lmao.
