Lethal Company x Fortnite Could be Getting a Wave 2
We’re into the swing of a fresh season of Fortnite with new items, weapons, and a few new crossovers. We have Fallout and X-Men in the base Battle Pass, but another new crossover in the item shop might have proved more popular. A Lethal Company Fortnite collab has been released as V-Buck only Fortnite collab. It might be gone now, but it could be coming next.
Lethal Company Fortnite Could be Getting Another Wave
Is there a wave 2 coming for Lethal Company X Fortnite? The game might be getting more content in the Battle Royale. Recent leaks are suggesting even more is to come.
Out of the first batch, Lethal Company X Fortnite was already one of our most popular collabs in recent seasons. For a more niche game, it’s interesting. Clearly, the first wave of Lethal Company x Fortnite was a success, but what else is coming?
This week, when dataminers drilled into Fortnite, they discovered something interesting in the item shop. Each section in the items hop is divided up into a few specific tabs. These group items together. When an Item Shop section gets new skins, it expands. That’s just happened to the Lethal Company X Fortnite section.
What does this mean? On the surface, it looks like it’s coming back for a second wave. This would be the most likely answer. That a second round of cosmetics is coming. Perhaps another skin, a piece of music, it could be anything. However, we don’t know exactly what’s coming.
This isn’t one of those leaks where Epic puts the files and models in the game early. It’s just an expanded item shop slot. This could mean more is coming, or frankly, it could mean Epic’s messing with how it displays in the item shop. It could even mean nothing and the change is because it’s leaving the item shop for the foreseeable future.
Given the huge positive response to Lethal Company X Fortnite though, it could be that we’re getting more skins. This would definitely be the most exciting outcome!
Wave 1 of Fortnite X Lethal Company
Epic has decided to cross Fortnite over with another gaming giant. While the season has heavy elements from Fortnite X Fallout, Lethal Company is getting in on Battle Royale too! This is a more recent game but one that has had huge popularity since it launched. How long do you have to grab the items and will they ever be back in the Item Shop?

New Lethal Company Fortnite Emote and Skin
In the new season, there’s plenty to get stuck into. However, one emote and skin that was found in the files overshadowed a lot of them. The emote is called Company Jig. Something that’s probably recognizable for fans of Lethal Company. Just days after the collab was leaked, Epic enabled it in the Item Shop and we could also get the new skin.
The emote showcases a basic jig and song, plus a skin of the character from the game and some cosmetics to match. However, it’ll be fun for those more interested in this side of gaming than the other Fortnite collabs for the season. It’s a different type of gaming collab than we normally see in the game.
Lethal Company is a smaller title than something like Fallout. It’s essentially an indie game that shot to popularity by being just that fun to play. Seeing it get represented in Fortnite is a great showcase of how important the title has become.
All Fortntie Lethal Company Cosmetics
These are all of the new items that we’ve seen released in the Fortnite X Lethal Company crossover.
- The Employee – Skin
- Oxygen Tank – Back Bling
- Stop Sign – Pickaxe
- Company Jig – Emote
When Did it Release?
The emote was tracked down and shown off by some Fortnite leakers, but it didn’t take long to arrive in the game fully. the cosmetics were first released in Fortnite on the June 1st Item Shop refresh. It’s likely the full collab in one wave, so it looks like these items are all we’re getting.

The Lethal Company Fortnite crossover is one of the most exciting we’ve had in a while. It won’t stay forever though, when will it leave the Item Shop? According to the in-game timer, Fortnite Lethal Company will leave the store on June 7th at 8 PM!
You have until then to pull the trigger on the collab. If you want to unlock it, it might be best not to wait too long. Collabs like this can be complicated in coming back if Epic doesn’t have free reign to bring it back without having to get fresh permission. Even if they are free to bring it back whenever it might vanish for years anyway.
Will Lethal Company X Fortnite Return?
Everything in the Fortnite item shop can theoretically come back, but we still get tons of skins which end up as rare FN skins. That’s because they don’t come back.
Lethal Company has the potential to be one of these. At least if compared to similar crossovers in the past. The last time Epic partnered with an indie studio for a crossover was Among Us. This hasn’t been back much. It’s really been quite rare since release.
Lethal Company X Fortnite has managed to be a pretty popular crossover this season. It could be coming back more often than Among Us. However, it all comes down to how Epic has negotiated the crossover. We’ll have to wait and see if Lethal Company is back a lot or becomes one of these crossovers that’s never seen again.
Lethal Company shows that even smaller titles are big enough to make it into Battle Royale. It’s a surprising move in the early days of the season. Hopefully, we get plenty more surprises like this in Fortnite news over the coming months of Chapter 5 Season 3.
