Where are All Fortnite Shadow Briefing Locations?
One of the more unique features in the last few seasons of Fortnite have been Shadow Briefing. An evolution of the old Bounty Board quest system, it’s a way to get an extra objective in each game of Fortnite. Head to one of the Fortnite Shadow Briefing Locations, and you’ll get another chalenge to play through, which can come with some decent rewards.
Some of the Shadow Briefing quests are fairly plain, like the new armory ones. Essentially rewarding you with XP. However, others can be quite useful for collecting Fortnite weapons. These other Shadow Briefing locations can spawn Supply Drops and treasure maps, two ways to get guaranteed high-level loot. It can be worth landing at a spot just to collect one of these.
Where can you find each of the Fortnite Shadow Briefing locations? They don’t have a 100% spawn rate, but they’re fairly easy to track down in each game.
Fortnite Shadow Briefing Locations
When you jump into a game, there isn’t a chest in every spawn spot. They have a ratio, where only part of them spawns in each game. Shadow Briefing work similarly. Each location is a chance to spawn a Shadow Briefing, not a guaranteed spot to get one. However, if you head to each of the spawn locations most of them should still have the terminals there. These are all of the locations where they can spawn.

If you’re trying to track down a specific task in the Shadow Briefing terminals, that’s where of them spawns. However, you might have to try more than one spot before you find one that’s actually activated. More might get added in future Fortnite updates too.
Types of Shadow Briefing Locations
That’s where the Fortnite Shadow Briefing locations all are. However, there’s three different types. What does each of the terminals do in Chapter 5 Season 4 now we’ve had vehicle ones removed?
- Armory – A quest where you have to deal damage with a weapon it gives you
- Plunder – Get two treasure map spawns to dig up rare chests
- Supply Drops – Spawn a supply drop in a nearby location
Each of the quests will only run for a few minutes, if you don’t open up the loot or use the weapon in that time then you’ll fail. However, they’re fairly easy to get done within the time limit. Those that hand out better weapons are even a good starting point for winning a game of Fortnite too!
