One of the most exciting parts of Fortnite is the live events. Big happenings, that blow up the world of Fortnite as we move onto something new. What time is the Fortnite live event next time we’ll see one though? Sometimes these aren’t announced too early, which can make them difficult to catch unless you’re watching very closely. This time we’ve known the date for a long time. but not what time the next Fortnite live event will happen.
Jumping into the game after the last Fortnite update, we’re approaching the end of the season. After just a short month, Galactic Battle is coming to an end. This could mean we’re expecting the next Fortnite live event to start to appear in-game very soon! Although, there currently isn’t a countdown. But there are some changes on the map, with more portal activating! This could mean that a live event is getting close!
Looking at how the game currently looks, it feels like something could begin at literally any moment! There might not be a countdown on the map, but we do know when to expect the event. What time is the next Fortnite live event and what can we expect from this season’s ending?

When is the next Fortnite live event? It’s now only a few days away! Players don’t have long to wait at all. With the Fortnite season end coming up, we have the exact time. If you’re hoping to make it there on time though, you’ll need to know the exact spot to enter the game. Fortnite queues can get lengthy, so when will the event take place in your time zone?
The Fortnite Live event for Chapter 6 Galactic Battle is going to begin on June 7th. For a while we had the date but not the time. However, we’ve had an update and now know exactly when it’s happening! These are the times: 12:30 PT
Those are the key times! Although we don’t know if the current live event will happen at the same time. It’s best to keep an eye out as we get closer to the end of the season, we’ll see a time confirmed a little before it happens. The servers can get quite full and the current size of the Fortnite player base might mean a bit of a wait, so you’ll want to make sure you’re free.
That’s the answer to what time is the Fortnite live event, but what if you’re busy? Epic used to just hold these once, spur of the moment. Although, some events have actually been re-ran. Especially recent ones. Although, you shouldn’t bank on it.
Sometimes, Epic does re-run its live events so more players can get the chance to watch them. Usually, this happens on the same day as the event first ran, just a second go at things. Normally these have been re-run when there was too long of a Fortnite queue, or if there was a server issue. They’re not run just to offer a different chance to catch it. So, if you’re thinking about on a re-run to catch the live event, it might not be something to rely on.

That’s what time is the Fortnite live event but how often are they even held? They’ve had varying schedules across all of Fortnite’s seasons. Back in Chapter 1, these came at the end of most seasons. More recently they’ve gotten sparser though. Through the more recent Chapters, they were pretty much only used for the end of Chapters now. In Chapter 5 we got at least mini-events and a few full ones for each season ending. Chapter 6 had one for Season 1, but skipped Season 2.

At the end of both Chapter 5 S1 and S2, we saw mini-events happen. These aren’t dedicated playlists, but small things on the map that repeat in a set period for everyone in Battle Royale. We had the Pandora Chest and then the Sandstorm. These aren’t proper events, but they do give us some Fortnite lore details in between seasons.
Chapter 5 Season 3 went a bit further. It wasn’t quite our big event with its own playlist. However, we did get a countdown, cinematic, and a lot happening in-game. Season 4 went further still. We got two full live events to close out the Chapter 5 map One may have been a glorified live stream, but it reached record player numbers for Fortnite.
If you’re wondering what time is the Fortnite live event that’s a full-length occasion, we’re getting one at the end of the current season but we don’t know the time just yet.
