Doom is certainly an older title, but don’t let the release date fool you, you’re going to need a decent machine to handle the intense gun battles you’re going to get into while playing the campaign. Although it is a graphically intense game, Doom does not have a large storage capacity, compared to modern titles like Elden Ring size.

Doom is quite an old game, but still stacks up against some of the best fps games there is on the market. To download Doom, you’re going to need 55 GB of storage, which is nowhere near as close to some of the other games like Call of Duty, Baldur’s Gate 3, etc.

Doom system requirements

For Doom, you’re going to need a couple of core PC components to ensure this game is running smoothly at all times. While a graphics card is always an important tool to have in ones gaming PC, you’re going to want to ensure you have the best SSD and Processor that your motherboard can handle. Doom is a very intense and fast-paced shooter. So, if you ask the Doom active players, they’ll tell you that having a good CPU is key, in order to handle all of the action moving across the screen and around the map. That doesn’t mean you can have a weak GPU by any means, you’re still going to need something serviceable.
