Using cheat codes can add a fun twist to your gameplay, in ways that making the game harder with a Pokemon ROM Hack or Nuzlocke run can’t quite offer. Here’s a guide to some of the best cheat codes for Pokemon Diamond.

For many, Gen 4 is the peak of all Pokemon games, so Pokemon Diamond cheat codes are often being looked for.
We’ve compiled some of the most common cheats used for Diamond. Thanks to advances in modding, some of these can be toggled by holding button combinations. It is important to note that these are for the the US version of the game that is frequently emulated.
However, if you’re in an emulator like DesMuMe, this should work. Finding an Action Replay from your game’s region should have altered codes that work with the native game that you have.

Instantly level up your Pokémon with Rare Candies. They’re hard to find, so maxing them out by pressing L+R speeds up your leveling:
Catch any Pokémon without fail with more Master Balls than you know what to do with.

This lets you get through walls and impassable objects, however if you touch something like a door, you’ll still activate it as normal. Doing this can also let you get out of bounds!
To activate this code you’ll need to hold R+B. To disable it and return to normal gameplay, hold L+B

Turn every ball into a master ball and focus on what ball you think looks nicest.
