Prediction market operator Polymarket has partnered with GRID to integrate its official real-time esports data, ad-free live streams, and interactive match widgets directly into its trading platform. Using GRID’s data, Polymarket has launched a dedicated esports hub.

GRID previously partnered with Sportstensor, a market maker and liquidity provider for Polymarket. But now, all users on the platform will have access to official data from game publishers and tournament organizers, including Riot Games, EFG, BLAST, and Ubisoft.

Polymarket Promises Better Experience and Rewards

“Esports moves fast, and so should the markets built on it,” said Ari Borod, President of Sports Business Development at Polymarket. “GRID gives our users official data with lower latency and access to live streams in real time, all in one place. It’s a better, differentiated experience for traders and a bigger opportunity for the sport.”

As part of the launch of its esports hub, the company promised “massive rewards” in a post on X

“The best trading experiences are built on fast, reliable information,” said Moritz Maurer, CEO of GRID. “Official data gives Polymarket access to real-time information directly from the source, while streaming and live match experiences keep users connected to the action. Together, they’re creating a single destination built specifically for esports traders.”

Esports Attracting Prediction Markets

Rival platform Kalshi has also expanded its esports offerings, and as a result, volume traded in the category has grown rapidly.

In the first week of this month alone, there was over $36 million traded on esports at Kalshi. CS2 accounted for the majority of that, at over 65%.

Polymarket argues that its markets are seeing higher trading volumes, and it has formed a series of partnerships to expand its presence in esports.

It became BLAST’s official prediction market partner in February. It followed that up by signing a deal to sponsor SINNERS Esports in March.

Earlier this month, it also announced a deal with esports news site Sheep Esports. The company said the partnership will focus exclusively on its League of Legends and VALORANT coverage.
