What is Alpha Boost Rocket League?

The Alpha Boost Rocket League (also known Gold Rush) is a very limited item in Rocket League that was awarded to players who played the game during the early testing stages, alongside other rare items including the Gold Cap, Goldstone Wheels and Golden Nugget antenna. The Alpha Boost is the most popular item out of the set due to the unique, dazzling effect it produces.

The Gold Rush is well known for being the most expensive item in the game, and is commonly used by the best Rocket League players who often show it off on the RLCS stream and community figures who have been a part of the community for many years.

How to get Alpha Boost in Rocket League?

Sadly now that trading has been removed there is no easy way to get it for yourself. The item has not been available in the item shop as of yet. It was only obtainable in the early stages of development. That’s one of the reasons why it holds great prestige amongst the community.

Despite the potential uproar that it could cause in the community, with Epic already making unpopular changes such as removing trading, I think it’s only a matter of time before they look to make profit from the Alpha and Beta items.

Currently the only way to get yourself an Alpha Boost, is buying an account that owned the item prior to the removal of trading.

However this would go against the Rocket League Terms of Service.

If you were wondering how to get the Alpha Boost for free, it’s not good news.
