Cammy is definitely the breakout character for Street Fighter 6, capturing the attention of the player base in a much bigger way than anticipated.
Before the official Street Fighter 6 release date, the full roster for was revealed with loads of interesting fighters. Cammy is iconic and has appeared in games like Fortnite along with being a mainstay across Street Fighter installments.

In terms of Street Fighter Cammy lore, she started out as a member of a UK special forces team, Delta Red. She’s changed around groups, but the majority of her backstory and lore tends to focus on her involvement with these various military group.
The Cammy Street Fighter 6 appearance is much less militaristic though! She’s basically in casual clothes. This might end up changing her role in the story for the coming game.
Alongside her release and profile causing a bit of a stir with Street Fighter fans, Cammy even made a splash with her theme! Her song that finished up the soundtrack for the all Street Fighter 6 characters roster grabbed a lot of attention, hear it for yourself.

Cammy is a rushdown fighter roughly in SF 6. She has moves with a lot of offensive potential for dealing big damage. Her moves come quick. Fresh attacks this time include a few extra kicks in mid-air.
Drive Moves
This will help make her faster in applying pressure, and give you more options in a rushdown. It looks like mastering Cammy Street Fighter combos will be important for getting the hang of the character, changing these speedy moves together to beat your opponent down.
There’s a few missing here from the full Street Fighter Cammy moves list. The Special and Super Art sections aren’t full investigated yet for frames, since the game is still a short while from launch. We’ll have this updated with the full Cammy moveset, along with data on damage very soon!

The Street Fighter 6 esports scene is going to be even more lively than SF V thanks to a huge Capcom Pro Tour prize pool, and loads of events making the jump over early. While we don’t know for sure who everyone is going to main just yet, it looks like Cammy will be a popular choice given the reaction to her unveiling! Looking at the top players in past games, these are some of the top names to watch out for Street Fighter Cammy gameplay on a pro level.
Punk in particular had some great results with Cammy in Street Fighter V, including a second-place finish at the Capcom Cup 2019. He’s already talking pretty firmly about Cammy’s Street Fighter 6 potential.
According to recent adaptations, Cammy is 16 years old as a general character. Going off of her in-game birth-date though, she’s should be much older! Her birthdate has been given as January 6 1974, which just doesn’t make sense with her appearance in-game anymore. We can probably guess she’s been aged down for more recent games.
Associated media from Street Fighter has made quite a bit out of her relationship with Bison. While the two were in a relationship, Bison was intending to use Cammy for other reasons, making it a bit more complicated.
Cammy is basically a hero in Street Fighter, but it is a bit more complicated than just being a hero or villain. While she’s been used by other forces for less than heroic aims, Cammy is roughly well-intentioned in most of the franchise.
Cammy is from the UK! The Cammy Street Fighter6 default outfit kind of gives this away.
