Fortnite x South Park: Leaks, Release Date,And Skins Explained

Key Points
  • Fortnite leaker @SamLeakss has revealed a rumored crossover between South Park and Fortnite.
  • A Fortnite x South Park collaboration is challenging, as the animated series contains explicit content and Fortnite is still played by a lot of kids.
  • The South Park kids could get skins in mech suits, but they could also get skins of their anime selves.

Fortnite Chapter 7 is rapidly approaching, so it’s only natural that rumors regarding new content from Epic Games are skyrocketing. One of the most dominant crossover speculations in circulation is Fortnite x South Park, with rumors originating from reliable leakers and data miners.

In this article, we’ll take a closer look at the leaks and discuss what a Fortnite x South Park crossover might entail. Keep in mind that all information is speculative, so take it with a grain of salt until there is official confirmation.

Is South Park Coming To Fortnite?

Possibly. Similar to other speculated crossovers, such as Fortnite x Harry Potter, there has been no confirmation from Epic Games about a South Park Fortnite collab.

The leaks emerged on X from Fortnite leaker @SamLeakss, a relatively reputable leaker who has been correct a few times, though isn’t widely considered a “trusted” leaker—at least not yet.

That said, claims made by @SamsLeakss regarding the South Park leaks were later reposted by HYPEX on X, arguably the most trusted and reliable Fortnite leaker, which lends significant added credibility to the claims.

When Is The South Park Fortnite Collaboration Releasing?

If the Fortnite x South Park leaks are accurate, the crossover is expected to land sometime during Chapter 7. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the collab will drop right away, though— each chapter lasts around 4–6 months and spans multiple seasons.

For context, Fortnite’s previous adult-animation collaborations have been released at entirely different times in their respective seasons:

FranchiseRelease Window
Bob’s BurgersChapter 6, Season 3 (June 2025)
The Cleveland Show (Cleveland skin only)Chapter 6, Season 3 (June 2025)
Family GuyChapter 5, Season 1 (December 2023)
FuturamaChapter 4, Season 3 (July 2023)
King of the HillChapter 6, Season 3 (June 2025)
Rick and MortyChapter 2, Season 7 (August 2021)
The SimpsonsChapter 6, Mini Season 2 (November 2025)

As you can see, there is no consistent pattern for when these collaborations launch. As a result, a South Park Fortnite release date could realistically appear anytime from November 29, 2025 (when Chapter 7, Season 1 is released) to mid-2026.

What Does The Fortnite x South Park Crossover Include?

Besides the X post by @SamLeakks, there is no confirmation of a Fortnite x South Park collab, but there is still plenty of room for speculation on what could be included. Let’s take a look at some ideas of content and South Park Fortnite skins that could work in an official collaboration.

Which South Park Characters Could Appear In Fortnite?

FeatureSouth Park Character, Item, or LocationHow Likely Is It?
SkinsStan Marsh
Kyle Broflovski
Eric Cartman
Kenny McCormick
Butters Stotch
Randy Marsh (or Randy dressed as Lorde)
Craig Tucker
Tweek Tweak
Clyde Donovan
Tolkien Black
Wendy Testaburger
Jimmy Valmer
Timmy Burch
Terrance and Philip
PC Principal
Mr Garrison
A regular skin would be impossible for the South Park kids due to their character designs. However, they could get mechs like Bart and Lisa Simpson, as well as Morty from Rick and Morty.
A post on X from @nagijoe1 went viral for its funny and clever Fortnite skin concept, showing the South Park kids stacked inside oversized trench coats to match the game’s full-height character model.
EmotesOne of the many dances that Butters has done during the show (tap dance, Peanuts dance, etc.)
Specific character emotes (e.g., Cartman eating Cheesy Poofs, Kenny dying, Kyle kicking an item Kick The Baby style, Stan pinching the bridge of his nose)
Emotes that include classic South Park songs that aren’t as explicit, such as Blame Canada, Randy’s Lorde song, and Cartman singing Poker Face by Lady Gaga
Emotes will need to be age-appropriate, which will drastically limit the amount of South Park content that can be imported into Fortnite. Dances are likely, but also character-specific emotes that don’t have strong adult themes.
PickaxesSouth Park town sign
South Park bus stop sign
Items from existing South Park games, such as The Stick of Truth or Cartman’s Claws (from his superhero persona)
Chef’s Spatula
The weapons from the “Good Times With Weapons” episode: Stan’s Tonfa, Kyle’s Nunchucks, Cartman’s Sais, and Kenny’s Shuriken Stars.
South Park already has a bunch of cool Pickaxe ideas ready to go, thanks to existing South Park games having plenty of content to draw inspiration from. The least mature items are more likely to be chosen to keep Fortnite age-appropriate.
Back BlingsTowelie
Ike (Kyle’s baby brother)
Terrance and Philip dolls
Cartman’s Clyde Frog doll
Mr Hat
Costume items from previous South Park games
The South Park kids could be better as Back Blings rather than skins due to their small and cute designs, though it seems like a bit of a waste
Although using the kids as Back Blings would be cool, it doesn’t seem likely, as there is far more creative potential when it comes to creating skins of the characters, but there are some exceptions.
SidekicksAwesome-O 4000
Woodland Critters
Sparky (Stan’s dog)
Mr. Kitty (Cartman’s cat)
Stripe (Craig’s guinea pig)
Lemmiwinks the hamster
Butters’s Chaos Hamsters
South Park Cow
South Park Alien
Again, South Park kids could be Sidekicks instead of skins.

Sidekicks aren’t as likely in a South Park collab, as there aren’t many options. The kids as Sidekicks would work from a size and design perspective, but fans would probably be disappointed if they were locked in as a cosmetic rather than actual skins.
In-Game WeaponsThese could be similar to the Pickaxes, but also include weapons from the other South Park games.

It seems likely that weapons could be drawn from other South Park games. The most likely scenario for weapons is those that the boys wield in the “Good Times With Weapons” episode.

In-Game ItemsCheesy Poofs
Chef’s Chocolate Salty Balls
City Wok takeout
Cred
Crème Fraîche
Fudge Ems
Memberberries
Powdered Donut Pancake Surprise
Snacky Cakes
Snacky S’Mores
Weight Gain 4000
Go-Go-Action Bronco
Handi Car
Wild Wacky Action Bike
V-Chip
Multiple iconic food items from South Park could be great consumables in Fortnite.
Maps and POIsThe town of South Park and its recognizable points of interest, such as City Hall, Starks Pond, and each of the houses of the main characters, among others.South Park probably won’t get a huge collab like The Simpsons, but a small part of the map could be transformed into South Park and feature iconic locations, such as the bus stop and the kids’ houses.

If a Fortnite collaboration happens, the only characters that feel truly guaranteed to appear are the four main boys (Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny). However, popular fan favorites like Butters or Randy, Stan’s dad, are also strong possibilities.

A Reddit thread related to the Fortnite x South Park leaks highlights what many fans are hoping to see, with Randy and the ninja-anime outfits from the “Good Times With Weapons” episode being the most requested South Park Fortnite character skins.

How To Get South Park Skins In Fortnite

Suppose a crossover is in development. In that case, the methods to unlock South Park skins in Fortnite will either be via the Battle Pass, by purchasing them outright from the Item Shop, or by completing event quests.

Most of the adult-animation skins released in Fortnite were purchasable for 1,200 and 1,500 V-Bucks from the in-game shop (on their own rather than with bundles). However, others like Rick from Rick and Morty, Peter Griffin from Family Guy, and some of The Simpsons skins were Battle Pass-exclusive skins in their seasons.

That said, there’s really no telling how the Fortnite South Park skins will be obtainable, but it seems likely that most of them will be shop skins.

Will The Fortnite x South Park Collaboration Be Limited-Time?

Yes. The South Park Fortnite collaboration is expected to be a limited-time activation. However, the items would likely return, as most do on a rotating, non-scheduled basis. That said, this will depend on the approval of the IP holder (Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and Paramount).

In some cases, certain skins may not be available after the collaboration due to licensing issues. A good example of this is the Fortnite Arcane skins (specifically Vi and Jinx), which still haven’t returned yet due to complications between Epic Games and Riot Games.

If there are no issues, then the skins will probably return to the game from time to time. If there are issues, it’s impossible to predict when they will return—or if they ever will. But that’s only if the collaboration actually happens.

How Does The South Park Collab Compare To Other Adult Cartoon Crossovers?

South Park is far more explicit than any of the other adult cartoons that have appeared in Fortnite, which can make a collab more complicated. After all, Fortnite is a game that kids aged around 12 and above can play, which means that the content of a crossover would need to be moderated to avoid anything inappropriate.

This wouldn’t be impossible, as South Park is all about satire as well as explicit adult themes. With over 25 years of content, there is plenty to pull from that could be included in Fortnite in an age-appropriate way—but it might still feel different from the other Fortnite cartoon crossovers.
