LCP 2026 Split 1 Format

The Regular Season follows a single round-robin format, with each of the eight participating teams playing in seven best-of-three series. Instead of 1v1 duels, side selection will now be determined by 2v2 mini-matches.

Only the top six contenders from the Group Stage will advance to the Playoffs, which will be played as a best-of-five series under a double-elimination format. This change drastically raises the stakes of LCP matches.

Additionally, all matches will adopt Fearless Draft. This means that once a champion is picked by either team in a best-of series, it’s permanently banned for both teams throughout the series. The champion of the LCP 2026 Split 1 will earn a direct invite to First Stand 2026.

Prize Pool Distribution

There is no cash prize for the winners of LCP 2026 Split 1. Riot Games has instead introduced Championship Points, similar to the VALORANT Champions Tour circuit, where teams are rewarded for consistent performance.

In a Regular Season, teams earn one point for every match win and lose one point for a loss. Based on the final standings, each team gains extra points with the split as follows:

  • #1 earns 7 points
  • #2 earns 6 points
  • #3 earns 5 points
  • #4 earns 4 points
  • #5 earns 3 points
  • #6 earns 2 points
  • #7 earns 1 point

In the final Playoffs, teams will gain Championship Points as follows:
