PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025 Location & Dates
PMGC 2025 will run from November 24 to December 14, 2025, across two locations in Thailand: Imperial World Samrong in Samut Prakan (for the League) and Siam Paragon in Bangkok (for the Grand Finals).
PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025 Format
PMGC 2025 introduces a major tournament format change: a new preliminary stage called The Gauntlet, which rewards regional and other major title winners. This will allow them to skip the entire Group Stage and proceed directly to the Grand Finals.
The tournament features four stages: The Gauntlet, Group Stage, Last Chance, and the Grand Finals.
Gauntlet & Group Stage
The Gauntlet (November 24–26, 2025) features 16 teams from regional qualifiers competing in 18 matches over 3 days. The top seven teams move on to the Grand Finals, while the remaining nine teams (8th–16th) will advance to the Group Stage.
In the Group Stage (November 28–December 4, 2025), 32 teams are split into two groups of 16. This includes the nine teams from The Gauntlet, plus the remaining regional or PMGC points qualifiers. Each group plays 18 matches over a three-day period.
For each group, the top three teams will proceed to the Grand Finals. Those placing 4th–11th will proceed to the Last Chance stage, while those finishing 12th–16th will be eliminated from the competition.

Last Chance & Grand Finals
The Last Chance stage (December 6–7, 2025) brings together 16 teams from both groups. They will play 12 matches across two days. The top two teams will secure their spot in the Grand Finals, and the rest will be eliminated.
The Grand Finals (December 12–14, 2025) in Bangkok will be fiercely contested, reducing the field of 40 invited teams to a top set of 16. This lineup will include seven teams from The Gauntlet, six from the Group Stage, two from Last Chance, and one as the Host Invite, all battling through 18 matches across 3 days.
Smash Rule Explained
The third day of the PMGC 2025 uses the Smash Rule. After Match 12, a “Match Point” threshold is set. Any team that reaches this cut-off becomes “Match Point Eligible,” after which point the first eligible team to win a “Winner Winner Chicken Dinner” is crowned champion.
However, if neither condition is met, then the team with the most points after all 18 matches will be declared the winner. The map order for each day will be as follows:
- Match 1: Rondo
- Matches 2–4: Erangel
- Matches 5–6: Miramar
