Top Teams at Game Changers Championship 2025
Here are our predictions of the top teams participating in the Game Changers Championship in Seoul.
Disclaimer: Predictions are based on opinion and should not be construed as betting advice. Past performance does not guarantee future outcomes. Bookmaker odds are accurate as of November 11, 2025, and can change at a moment’s notice.
Shopify Rebellion Gold (North America)
Shopify Rebellion Gold enters Seoul as one of the most dominant forces in Game Changers history. The North American giants boast unmatched consistency and a deep tactical playbook, led by in-game leader Melanie “Mel” Capone—one of the world’s best female esports players.
With back-to-back GCC titles (2023 and 2024), the team has made only one roster change, replacing Ava “Florescent” Eugene with Karnthida “dodonut” Chaisrakeo. Following another dominant year domestically, SRG’s focus is firmly set on claiming a third world championship trophy to solidify its dynasty.
At odds of 2.75, Shopify Rebellion Gold enters the Championship as the clear favorite, reflecting a 36.4% implied chance to take home the title. Their dominant form through the North American season makes them the team to beat in Seoul. Anything short of a Finals appearance would be considered an upset.
Shopify Rebellion Gold roster:
- Melanie “meL” Capone (IGL)
- Karnthida “dodonut” Chaisrakeo
- Alexis “alexis” Guarrasi
- Nicole “Noia” Tierce
- Sarah “sarahcat” Simpson
- Loic “effys” Sauvageau (Coach)

G2 Gozen (EMEA)
The queens of Europe are back. G2 Gozen, the 2022 Game Changers World Champions, return with an overhauled roster. After disappointing performances in Stage 1 and Stage 2 of GC EMEA, the new lineup lifted their first trophy during GC EMEA Stage 3 and qualified as the top seed.
G2 Gozen won the first-ever GCC, and similar to their run in 2022, the team has a new young talent, 16-year-old duelist Esllene “Akita” Xu. With experience, chemistry, and legacy on their side, G2 Gozen are once again among the favorites to take home the crown.
Sitting at odds of 5.00, G2 Gozen carries a 20% implied probability of winning the Championship. That puts them firmly in contention as the strongest European representative—and Shopify’s stiffest rival. If their new roster clicks early, a deep Playoff run is almost guaranteed.
G2 Gozen roster:
- Michaela “mimi” Lintrup (IGL)
- Esllene “Akita” Xu
- Amy “amy” Lai
- Aleyna “Vania” Keskin
- Petra “Petra” Stoker
- Drew “DrewSpark” Spark-Whitworth (Coach)

MIBR GC (Americas)
Representing Brazil at the Americas LCQ, MIBR GC has become one of 2025’s most exciting stories. Their fearless playstyle and veteran IGL Paula “bstrdd” Naguil (previously with Team Liquid Brazil) have earned them a devoted fan base and a well-deserved shot on the world stage.
With standout duelist Nicolas “srN” Niederauer posting consistent numbers, MIBR’s journey to global contenders has captured the spirit of the Game Changers circuit: resilience, teamwork, and relentless ambition.
With srN and the last iteration of this squad finding a second-place finish at GCC 2024, they are hungry for their first trophy under their new IGL. At odds of 8.00, MIBR GC’s implied probability of victory sits near 12.5%, marking them as a dangerous wildcard.
Their opening matchup against GIANTX GC (MIBR 1.46 vs. 2.55 odds) reinforces their momentum as early favorites to advance. The Grand Final matchup from 2024’s GCC could very well repeat in the second round if MIBR beats GX.
MIBR GC roster:
- Paula “bstrdd” Naguil (IGL)
- Giulia “lissa” Lissa
- Nicolas “srN” Niederauer
- Camila “sayuri” Obam
- Melissa “Mel” Souza
- João “Biscoit1n” Victor Vieira (Coach)
