MultiVersus is one of the most fun new fighting games, but it’s a live service title. Compared to some other games, this can mean bigger file sizes. The MultiVersus game size isn’t the smallest, after all this is a game with more and more content added every game. However, it is still pretty manageable.

If you want to make sure you have room, we’ve got the MultiVersus size on each platform. At least at the moment! Since there are MultiVersus updates all the time, it does change between patches. At the moment, it’s a fairly normal file size for a game of its type.

What is the MultiVersus Size?

File size management has become a pretty annoying part of modern gaming, as developers try to hog our hard drives. The game is pretty well optimized though and it won’t need a dedicated storage space just so you can practice and grind out your combos.

MultiVersus as a game is primarily played online. However, there are some MultiVersus offline modes out there, and you will need plenty of data hosted locally to run things smoothly.

Let’s see how big the MultiVersus size is on each platform.

Steam – 15.4 GB
Console – 12-14 GB

It’s important to note this has risen a bit lately. Back in early access, it was smaller but it has grown a bit since it was released. Understandable since we have so much more content like MultiVersus characters.

The MultiVersus download size isn’t too bad though, especially for a live service game. That’s how many GBs is MultiVersus, 12-14GB.

Along with needing to learn space management to save MultiVersus, there’s a bit more to system requirements. If you’re playing on consoles you can just download and go (unless you’re trying to down MultiVersus on Switch, which doesn’t exist yet).

However, on PC, there’s other MultiVersus system requirements in hardware that you need to hit to run the game.

That’s the system requirements and the answer to how many GBs is MultiVersus. This will likely change over time though. Just as the best MultiVersus characters change, we can expect this to move around as more content comes to the game and presumably, the file size starts to fluctuate a bit more.
