Tekken World Tour 2023

The Tekken World Tour is making a return in 2023, this time it’s going to be returning to its offline roots. The event is eliminating the online qualifiers, with every week being live and in-person! The Dojos, Challenger, and Master tournaments will all contribute points to the ongoing roster. This new event is coming hot on the heels of the Red bull Golden Letters Tekken LAN, so there are a lot of Tekken tournaments taking place right now.

The Tekken World Tour 2023 will be an ongoing series where individual events contribute points to an overall ranking, before the eventual final and showdown between the top players. Challenger events are coming back which are community tournaments that get empowered to award Tekken World Tour points. Dojo events allow up-and-coming tournaments to register to become part of the official series of events too. Master events provide the most points, followed by Challengers. Dojos provide points based on how many competitors entered.

Tekken World Tour 2023 Going Region-Free

While online events are going away, organizers are keeping the game open to players from areas with fewer tournaments. The region lock will be removed from all competitors! Anyone can attend a tournament and compete in any region. All events in the circuit will also be streamed this year! Fans will have an easier time following along from home.

The Tekken World Tour 2023 will be getting started officially with EVO Japan. That’s taking place in only a month, during March. We’re only actually going to have a short burst of downtime between the last major Tekken event and the new World Tour starting. In terms of the full schedule, we don’t yet have all the details. We’ll likely find out which events are part of the World Tour as tournaments announce the games featured. We do know that April’s The Mixup is going to be included though. We’ll be seeing more Challenger and Master events.

The Tekken World Tour 2023 is going to be the final outing for Tekken 7. With Tekken 8’s release getting closer and closer, we can expect players to be in their best form trying to take the title for this final year.
