Axo Fortnite Skin – How to Get it

The Axo Fortnite skin is just an item shop skin. You didn’t need to get a Battle Pass or starter pack back in early Chapter 3 to get it. Nicely though, it’s one of the skins you can unlock at literally any time. Provided it comes back into the shop that is.

The Axo skin is able to be bought by just by clicking the button in the item shop. You’ll have to wait for it to return though. At the moment it is in the Fortnite Item Shop, it’ll only be here for two days though! Then, we’ll have to wait to see when it re-appears. Before today, it was missing for over 200 days so it could be one that’s gone for quite a while.

What is Axo?

Axo is a Fortnite skin with a pretty clear inspiration, it’s an Axolotl. These are a type of salamander with a few really unique properties. They’re largely water creatures, often living as pets in tanks. However, they can also crawl out onto land and transform into a salamander! This isn’t their only strangely adaptable feature, they can also regenerate limbs they lose. These very interesting animals

The Axo Fortnite skin doesn’t quite carry over all of its features. You won’t regenerate health like when a real one loses a limb. That would be a bit to pay to win, when it’s normally just skill that decides who wins a Fortnite game. However, there are multiple styles including some without a tail. It’s an interesting Fortnite skin and a great way to use a fun animal in the world of Fortnite.
