In the midst of a Fortnite Marvel crossover season, we’re getting more and more superhero characters added to the game. There’s plenty in the Battle Pass. But what about the Item Shop? We’re about to get a new character added, a Fortnite Black Cat skin.

The popular anti-hero is the latest from Spider-Man to arrive. We’ve already had Spider-Man himself, and a few variations. Some of his enemies and allies have even shown up too. This is the first time we’ve gotten a proper Fortnite Black Cat skin though! The character has had some lookalike original Fortnite characters, but now players can use the definitive article.

The Fortnite Black Cat skin has popped up pretty suddenly. This is what we know about the skin and when it releases.

Fortnite Black Cat Pricing and Items

The Fortnite Black Cat skin is finally about to release! With that, we’ve gotten a bit more information about how the skin in the item shop is going to work. Including the extra cosmetics that will be available alongside them. There are quite a few extra items in the bigger bundle. This will mean you can tailor an entire locker slot to the Black Cat skin. This is what’s coming:

Black Cat Skin – 1,500 V Bucks
Pickaxe – 800 V-Bucks
Guitar – 800 V-Busks
Wrap – 500 V-Bucks

Those are all of the individual items. It’s missing a glider, but does still feature a guitar if you’re especially interested in playing Fortnite Festival songs with this skin.

Like most skins that have extra cosmetics, they’re available all in one in a bundle for the Item Shop. This will cost 2,300 V-Bucks for everything.

When Does the Fortnite Black Cat Skin Come to the Item Shop?

Along with the pricing details, we’ve now got an exact release date for the skin. We’re expecting it to arrive in the Fortnite Item Shop tomorrow. Friday, September 13th. An unlucky day for some, so it’s a fitting time to release a black cat! They’ll likely stick around for a few days though since this is a brand new collab.

New Skin Leaks

In an upcoming Fortnite Item Shop, we’re going to see the Fortnite Black Cat skin added. According to the leak, it’s a version of the character with a themed pickaxe, backbling, instrument, and wrap. They’ll also have a dedicated version for playing Lego Fortnite games.

This new skin seems to take its biggest inspiration from the comic version of the character. As usual, there are a few Fortnite twists on their design, but the new skin looks like it’s a faithful representation. Fans of the character will likely be pleased with Epic’s take on Black Cat.
