If you know how to slide kick in Fortnite, you have access to an extra attack which can be used in some of the most fun ways. You’ll often see little clips of slide kicks in Fortnite doing more than just knocking back opponents. They can send players flying off high ground, even killing them through fall damage! One of the newer movement mechanics added to Fortnite is the slide kick. While it uses movement, this is a way for you to deal damage to opponents without having to use any kind of item. You collide with them, kicking them backward.
What’s useful about the slide kick is it sends players flying back. If you’re positioned on high ground, you can knock them pretty far. It even deals fall damage. On the floating island, the slide kick can actually get quite a few eliminations! It’s always satisfying to get a kill this way. To do that though, you’ll need to know how to slide kick in Fortnite.
If you want to slide kick in Fortnite, it’s really quite easy! These are the steps to get it done.
Essentially all you need to do is run into another player while kicking. It’ll send them hurtling backward! You could even manage to get the last kill and win a Fortnite game using a slide kick. A current Fortnite quest is to pull one off. Even outside of this quest though, slide kicking is a fun mechanic in the game and it can lead to some pretty funny kills.
