The Smash Ultimate Summit is fast approaching, coming up in mid-September. This is one of the biggest tournaments. The full Smash Ultimate Summit 5 line-up has now been revealed. It looks like all of the major Smash players from this year are going to be taking part, in one of the most stacked events we’ve seen all year. This is what the line-up is and the top players to watch at the tournament.

The full line-up for the tournament has just been revealed with the final invited players. The roster has some who qualified. However, others came in through crowdfunding and the bulk from direct invitation. This is the full line-up.

The Smash Ultimate Summit 5 will be kicking off in September. These are the top players to look out for at the tournament.

MKLeo

MKLeo has had a strong year. He’s one of the top Smash players around, if not the best player in Ultimate. Recently he’s been on an incredible hot streak. Recently he’s taken first place at Rise N Grind, Smash Factor 9, Colossal, and more. He’s a clear favorite heading into this tournament and the person to beat for most players. He faltered a little at Super Smash Con. However, he’s bounced back since and is still the top contender.

Cosmos

Cosmos only just squeaked into qualification here, off the back of a win at Shine 2022. After most of a season of decent placements, Cosmos won first place at the major. Off this win, Cosmos is definitely looking like a contender for the top spot at this tournament.

Sparg0

Sparg0 was on an insane run at the opening of the year, before heading on an indefinite break. He is making a return here. He was neck and neck with MKLeo for most of this year. Smash Ultimate Summit 5 will be a test if he’s still at the top after his break, and it is exciting to have him back in the game.

Glutonny

Glutonny is a long-standing Smash player that’s been achieving great ranking results over his years in the game. This year he’s taken 4th place at Super Smash Con and Smash Factor 9, along with ranking well at other tournaments and winning Pound 2022.

Those are some of the stand-out players at Smash Ultimate Summit 5. These are just some highlighted. However, this tournament’s line-up is crazy. It’s essentially a list of the top players in Smash. It’s one of the biggest events of the year.

Beyond the Summit are organizing the tournament. It’s got a great prize pool here of $15,258. The event has some major sponsors on board like Coinbase and Papa Johns, which should help to make it a bit bigger than a lot of fighting game tournaments.

There are more Smash majors than ever with the extra circuits running this year. However, this is one of the biggest. Those are some of the top players to watch, but keep an eye out throughout the event to see which of these players really does grab the top spot.
