How To Use Cheats For Ark?

Once you have the cheats, you’ll need to know how to implement them into the game. This is why along with a list of codes, we will tell you how to open the console and enter console commands.

You can also check out other game guides, if you are interested. As for Ark fans, depending on the platform you are on, you’ll be using a different method:

  • For PC users – press the Tab key on your keyboard. This also works if you are using a keyboard and mouse on a console.
  • For Xbox One users – press LB, RB, X, and Y, while in the pause menu.
  • For PS4 users – press R1, L1, Triangle, and Square while in the pause menu.

This should open a small text bar to enter Ark cheats you wish to use. Once you enter a cheat, press the same key you used to open the text bar to close the console. When in singleplayer mode, these cheats should work as intended. But if you are in the multiplayer mode, you’ll have to input the EnableCheats [password] first. This means you need to have the admin password to start using cheats on a certain server.

Player Commands

  • God – will toggle God mode on/off. The God mode prevents all damage except drowning.
  • InfiniteStats – will refill your health, oxygen, stamina, water, and food needs.
  • GMBuff – combines God mode and Infinite Stats plus gives additional experience.
  • EnemyInvisible – every creature leaves you alone, even if you attack them.
  • LeaveMeAlone – will combine the effects of God, EnemyInvisible, and InfiniteStats.
  • Fly – will make your character fly.
  • Walk – will cancel the Fly and/or God mode.
  • Ghost – will make your character pass through objects.
  • Teleport – will move you forward until your character collides with terrain or object.
  • TPCoords [Lat] [Lon] [Altitude] – will move your character to the GPS location you specified.
  • TeleportPlayerNameToMe [PlayerName] – will move the specified player to your position.
  • TeleportPlayerIDToMe [PlayerID] – will move the specified player to your position.
  • TeleportToPlayerName [PlayerName] – will move you to the specified player’s position.
  • TeleportToPlayer [PlayerID] – will move you to the specified player’s position.

Creative Mode

  • GiveCreativeMode – will put you in Creative Mode.
  • GiveCreativeModeToPlayer [PlayerID] – will put the specified player into Creative Mode.
  • GiveCreativeModeToTarget – will put the targeted player into Creative Mode.

Dinosaur Cheats

  • DoTame – will tame targeted dinosaurs if they are tamable.
  • ForceTame – will tame targeted dinosaurs. You’ll be able to ride the dinosaur even without a saddle.
  • ForceTameAOE <Radius> – will tame dinosaurs in a specified radius. The default is 2000.
  • SummonTamed [Type] – will spawn the creature you specified to your location. The creature will be tamed.
  • Summon [Type] – will summon the creature you specified to your location. The creature will not be tamed.
  • GiveDinoSet [Tier] [Quantity] – will spawn a set of dinosaurs with saddles.
  • GMSummon [“Type”] [Level] – will spawn a tamed create of the level you specified.

Ark Creature IDs

In the game, every creature has a set [Type] ‘value’ that allows you to specify the creature you want to summon. Here are the following creatures you can choose from:

  • 0 – Dilo, Trike, Raptor
  • 1 – Raptor, Thylacoleo, Carnotaurus
  • 2 – Paracer, Therizinosaur, Rex, Spino
  • 3 – Therizinosaur, Spino, Rex, Rex with Tek Saddle
  • Mek – 3 Meks, one with each module.
  • MissleMek – Mek, Mek Rocket Launcher Module, Element Rocketpod
  • SiegeMek – Mek, Mek Siege Cannon Module, Element, Cannon Shell
  • ShieldMek – Mek, Mek Deployable Shield Module, Element
  • Extinction – Gasbags, Enforcer, Gacha, Managarmr, Snow Owl, Velonasaur

Armor Cheats

GiveArmorSet <Tier> <Quality> – will give your player a full armor set that you specified.

Tier Options for Armor

You can enter armor tiers as numbers or words:

  • 0 for cloth, or simply write Cloth.
  • 1 for chitin, or simply write Chitin.
  • 2 for flak/metal, or simply write Flak/Metal.
  • 3 for tek, or simply write Tek.

There are also Fur, Ghillie, Scuba, Riot, Hazard, and Hide.

Armor quality must be entered. You can either enter a number from zero to twenty, or you can simply write: Primitive, Ramshackle, Apprentice, Journeyman, Mastercraft, Ascendant, Alpha.

Weapon Cheats

GiveWeaponSet <Tier> <Quality> – will give you all the weapons specified in Tier.

Tier Options For Weapons

You can enter Weapon tiers as numbers or words:

  • 0/Primitive – Bola, Spear, Pike, Bow
  • 1/Basic – Longneck Rifle, Shotgun, Assault Rifle, Sword, Grenade
  • 2/Advanced – Rocket Launcher, Compound Bow, C4 Charge, Fabricated Sniper Rifle
  • 3/Tek – Tek Rifle, Tek Grenade, Tek Railgun, Tek Sword

Weapon quality must be entered, and they are the same as for Armor.

Item Cheats

GiveItemSet <Tier> – will give you all items specified in Tier.

You can enter Item tiers as numbers or words:

  • 0 – 2 Waterskin, 200 Stimberry, 90 Cooked Meat
  • 1 – 100 Medical Brew, 200 Stimberry, 2 Water Jar, 90 Cooked Meat
  • 2 – 100 Medical Brew, 100 Cactus Broth, 100 Energy Brew, 2 Canteen, 60 Cooked Meat Jerky
  • 3 – 100 Medical Brew, 100 Cactus Broth, 100 Energy Brew, 5 Shadow Steak Saute, 5 Focal Chili, 5 Enduro Stew, 5 Lazarus Chowder, 90 Cooked Meat Jerky
