All Fortnite Remix Guns
Fortnite’s closing up its new season, or a new take on a classic one. We’re back to Chapter 2 with the release of the Fortnite Remix guns and map. Everything in the game is currently back to its Chapter 2 Season 2 form, kind of. There have been some remixes. If you’re wondering how that impacts gameplay, you’re going to be dealing with a very different loot pool.
Fortnite played differently in Chapter 2. The best Fortnite players still did amazing things with builds and shotguns, but fewer collab items, mythics, and generally a more restrained set of weapons. This is what we’ve got with the Fortnite Remix weapons.
Along with the classic loot pool, there are quite a few new items and weapons too.
Chapter 2 Season 1 famously had few updates out of all seasons, with just a harpoon gun added in a mid-season patch. Remix has a bit of a more interesting blend though. What’s included in the weapons for you to loot this week?

That’s everything we’ve got! These guns are a bit of a mixed bag, there are classic tools like the Assault Rifle here, but fewer of the more creative weapons we’re used to! You’ll have to rely a little more on your core gunplay if you want to succeed.
Pumps in particular have proven important. We’ve had a pump in the game recently, but the OG Pump just hits differently. It’s faster and more powerful than the Hammer we’ve had this Chapter. It’ll be fun to play with this more streamlined pool of Fortnite Remix Guns until the season ends soon.
New Guns Added
In the most recent update, we’ve seen quite a change to the Fortnite Remix guns released! Maybe it’s the return of Chapter 2 looting mechanics, but the pool of weapons does feel weirdly uneven this time. RNG is reigning over the map right now. We had items like the grenade launcher which most players never saw, and now it’s vaulted. Now we’ve got some bizarre inclusions like two types of Boogie Bombs. The only difference between them is the song played, which won’t stack with each other.
That’s along with a Mythic that just randomly drops from chests. However, the last update included some exciting changes to the loot pool too.
Maybe the most impactful part of the update was the addition of the Legacy Tactical Assault Rifle. This gun isn’t quite how you remember it though.
Hitscan is back, along with outrageous feeling bloom. But not on the Legacy. For some reason, this weapon basically has no bloom. Not much recoil either. It offers the accuracy of considerably slower weapons, with the power of any other AR. For some reason, its noise is also turned way up compared to the past. We’re not quite sure what’s going on with the Legacy AR right now and why it feels so weird, but it’s far and away one of the best Fortnite Remix guns in the meta. Great to win more Fortnite games before Chapter 6.
It’s interesting to see these classic items get new life in Remix. There’s still a short while left to enjoy the new version of Chapter 2, so make the most out so these guns while you can!
