Now that Patch 14.10 is on the live servers, it’s time to turn our eyes to the next update for the game, LoL Patch 14.11.

LoL Patch 14.11 – Champion nerfs and fighter item changes
Patch 14.10 has officially been released on May 15 with some major updates. Riot has been trying to shake up the meta, bringing various changes to champions and items over the past two patches.
The game has undergone yet another balancing work after the major itemization rework at the start of the season. While it still may take some time for the new patch to settle, the devs will be working to bring refreshing stuff to the game. Compared to previous patches, you will find fewer changes this time around. To find out what is being tweaked, check the sections below.
Patch 14.11 Release Date
According to the official patch schedule, Patch 14.11 will be released on Thursday, May 30. This will be the 11th patch out of the 24 updates planned for the year.
How will the upcoming patch impact the meta?
Based on the leaked changes, solo queue players should be happy to see some of the most powerful picks getting nerfed. Champions like Karthus, Camille, Taliyah, and Irelia getting tagged means they should drop in priority, even though they should still be relevant for a few weeks. Among the buffs and nerfs, I’m mostly interested in Caitlyn and Smolder. The first is taking a big hit in her damage output while Smolder’s buffs towards the crit build makes me wonder whether players will actually opt for a different build going forward.
