Now that Patch 14.11 is officially released, it’s time to turn our eyes to the next update for the game, LoL Patch 14.12.

LoL Patch 14.12 – Hall of Legends

Patch 14.11 has officially been released on May 30 and it came with fewer changes compared to previous updates. This is because Riot has been heavily trying to shift the meta so Patch 14.11 was focused more on nerfing some of the outperforming champions.

While we monitor to see how the new patch will settle and wait for the release of the Hall of Legends skins, the devs are already working on the upcoming patch 14.12. To find out what is being tweaked, check the sections below (the data was retrieved by a PBE data mine).

Patch 14.12 Release Date

According to the official patch schedule, Patch 14.12 will be released on Wednesday, June 12. This will be the 12th patch out of the 24 updates planned for the year.

How will the upcoming patch impact the meta?

There is a long list of champions receiving changes in this patch, making it hard extremely difficult to analyze every single change. That said, we can look at the main buffs and nerfs so far. On one hand, Akali’s MR nerf will definitely hurt her presence in the mid lane. Aside from her, there are changes to Akshan and Naafiri, which might shake things up in the role.

I’m unsure about the Corki and Aatrox changes: they don’t look that meaningful to me at first so we will probably have to wait to see how those adjustments perform. I’m quite intrigued by the Ezreal and Vladimir changes: we should see their play rate go up in the upcoming patch. Talon might be an interesting jungle pick going forward.
