DreamHack Anaheim 2020 – The Biggest Tournament is Back

One of the biggest esports events in the world is about to visit Anaheim. This weekend, between the 21st and 23rd of February, the Anaheim Convention Centre in Anaheim is going to play host to the next DreamHack event. Spread across those three days, there will be various tournaments and panels that’ll hopefully make the front page of the esports news. In the first DreamHack tournament event of the year, players from all over the world assembled in California to take part in exciting competitions at the DreamHack Anaheim 2020.

Challenging the best

For those lucky enough to nab themselves DreamHack Anaheim tickets this year, there is plenty of fun to be had this weekend. Among others, some of the best Fortnite players in the world will be competing in the Fortnite tournament there. Other featured esports include Counter-Strike – traditionally a huge event at DreamHack competitions, Magic: The Gathering Arena, Halo: Reach, Warcraft III: Reforged as well as some Fighting Games.

The DreamHack Anaheim 2020 is set to be one of the biggest DreamHack events yet. Fans are already looking forward to the different competitions – the competitive fighting games especially are expected to draw quite the crowd, although traditionally CS:GO has been one of the headliners of the DreamHack series.

DreamHack Anaheim 2020 schedule

In addition to the tournaments at the 3-day event, there will also be additional fun to be had; a cosplay fashion show, several Indie game dev talks and more. There will also be a few BYOC – Bring Your Own Computer – competitions. If you want to play Fortnite without participating in the big event you can – the Fortnite Blue Heat BYOC tournament is happening on Saturday.

Additionally, there is also some esports industry content – for example, a panel on monetization in gaming, monetization for content creators, relationship management and more. There will even be a panel on LGBTQIA in gaming, along a few more general industry topics. Even collegiate esports are going to be featured – as one of the big topics in esports at the moment, it’s no wonder that that of all things is part of the schedule – it’s a hot topic among gaming and DreamHack fans after all!

It’s no secret that DreamHack events draw a huge crowd – this weekend’s event will be no exception. If you’d like to be part of that crowd, you absolutely can – tickets for the DreamHack Anaheim 2020 are still available for last minute buyers.
