Karmine Corp Dominate Geekay Esports to Win Esports World Cup Rocket League Championship 2025

Karmine Corp swept aside Geekay Esports 4-1 in the Esports World Cup Rocket League grand final to lift the 2025 title.

The French organization rediscovered the form that saw them win the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2025 Birmingham Major to notch a second major accolade of 2025.

Karmine’s impressive run represented a massive turnaround from a disappointing 7-8th place finish at the Raleigh Major two months ago.

Karmine Corp Add Esports World Cup 2025 to RLCS Birmingham Major

Led by star-player Samy “dralii” Hajji, Karmine Corp were dominant from the off. The roster began their trophy-winning run by topping Group A with wins over Virtus.pro and NRG.

They brushed aside the all-Brazilian Team Secret in the quarter-finals 4-1, before knocking out the Raleigh Major champions, Falcons, 4-2.

The grand final was sheer dominance from start to finish, with the French team comfortable 4-1 winners. Geekay ended the series with one of the lowest goals scored tallies in a Rocket League final ever, as Karmine controlled the series.

Karmine finished fourth in last year’s edition, with dralii winning back-to-back trophies, having won the event with Team BDS in 2024.

The champions take home $400,000 of a $1,010,000 prize pool. Superstar dralii will also take home an extra $10,000 after being named as the tournament’s MVP, cementing his status as one of the best Rocket League players in the world.

A Look Ahead to RLCS 2025 World Championship

Karmine Corp will now head into the upcoming RLCS 2025 World Championship in Lyon’s LDLC Arena as overwhelming favourites.

A home event for the organisation, a win there would not only be a monumental achievement for the relatively new French team, but would also solidify the legacy of their longest-standing member, Axel “Vatira” Touret.

Should Karmine Corp win the event, it will be a second RLCS World Championship crown for 17-year-old dralii, who won it last year with Team BDS before the organisation left Rocket League and he signed for Karmine Corp.
