Three weeks are left until the LEC regular Summer Split ends. Last week, we saw both Fnatic and G2 Esports rising up, winning both their games. Now that they will face each other this week, and everything is going to get a lot spicier!
The most exciting thing is that we still have a very tight standing, with seven to eight teams potentially getting into playoffs. This makes the last weeks of the split all the more important. It’s really hard to understand who is the better team… and that’s why we’re here to help you with your LoL bets! Without further ado, let’s do our LEC Week 6 Preview!

Starting our preview, we have the series between Team Vitality and G2 Esports. As we previously mentioned, G2 won both of their games, one of which was against first-place team Rogue. It’s a pleasure to see G2 slowly getting into the groove, after a very tough first part of the split.
Their drafts are indeed getting better: they seem to have found their answer to the meta. Everyone is also executing the game more cleanly: in particular, Rasmus “Caps” Borregaard Wintherhas stepped up again as the second carry of the team: the “Bald Caps” is surely making some magic here.
However, there’s another player that’s going under the radar: Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski. Contested by many fans due to his non-optimal performance over the past few weeks, he’s also taking control of the team, leading them with more early action. If G2 wants to dominate, Jankos is indeed an important key to that.
On the other hand, we have Vitality which made an announcement last week, benching top laner Enzo “SLT” Gonzalez for the former starter Mathias “Szygenda” Jensen. Vitality needs to desperately earn some results or otherwise, they won’t be able to make playoffs and saying farewell to Worlds 2021. This should be the team’s short-term answer as only three weeks are left.
While the roster change will change the individual performance, Vitality’s game plan should more or less remain the same. Utilizing Oskar “Selfmade” Boderek’s strengths in the early game and look to snowball the main carry of the team, Juš “Crownshot” Marušič. It’s a very traditional line of thought, but it’s easier to execute, thus less forgiving.
As for your bets, G2’s victory in this series should be almost a given. If you want to make more cash, I suggest putting First Blood for Vitality: out of the many options, this should be the most reasonable one, netting you a 2.21x return. Another bet worth looking into is game duration. Games on average last around from 33 to 35: betting on an over-31.5 (1.96x) should be an easy way to get good money.
After facing G2, Vitality will face another potential playoff team: the MAD Lions. Both teams need this victory on their tally, as it might be directly impacting them in case of a head-to-head.
While MAD is currently third with a 7-4 record, it seems like they are not performing as well as they could. Sometimes their gameplay is scruffy and some individual mistakes are more persistent compared to the past. Nonetheless, the strong point of MAD Lions is that they can rely on all the carries when it’s necessary. Marek “Humanoid” Brázda has shifted his champion pool from mages to assassins and he’s popping off, with a total of 27.7% damage output in the team. He and Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság are the two damage dealers, essentially making MAD Lions a strong carry duo.
For this series, we can still expect Vitality to have good early game action (First Blood Vitality: 2.23x), eventually falling behind as the game prolongs. As both teams look for skirmishes early on, the game will become a bloodbath with many kills on the scoring board. Betting at GG.bet an-over 26.5 kills will earn you a 2.14x on your investment.
Week 6 will end with the ultimate rivalry between Fnatic and G2 Esports. Last time out, Fnatic won mainly thanks to a superior draft. Granted that it was G2’s fault, the game was closer than it should’ve been. This time, things might change a lot.
Fnatic does have the advantage of having a strong mid-jungle duo, as Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer has been performing greatly during this split. Despite not taking all the resources, he’s still top of the damage chart of the team (26.2%). Fnatic makes good transitions between the various stages of the game. Early on, they give the resources and attention to the solo laners, making the bot lane play passively. As soon as they hit the 10th-minute mark, they look to open a lead in the bot lane, in order to pick up the drake.
It’s sure that people didn’t have high expectations, but Fnatic is actually delivering. They might still not be in their best form yet, but they rightfully deserve a playoff spot. Now, though, every game matters… and teams cannot make too many mistakes.
Making a prediction for this series is a hard one: for me, however, the winner will likely be G2. Their last performances are making me question how they will tackle Fnatic, who’s known for pulling surprises out of the box. As usual, the draft will matter so much: I suggest betting until you’ve had an idea of the comps they are going to build and bet.
Two goods bets are First Tower Fnatic and over 25.5 kills. They respectively will net you a 2.05x and a 1.97x as profit. The main reason is correlated to what we mentioned above: Fnatic likes playing around top early on, with Herald capture. Either mid or top tower will likely fall first for G2. Also, expect the game to be full of fights: going above 25.5 kills should almost be a sure thing.
