It was reported in February 2017 that his winnings had amounted to almost $900K, and that doesn’t include the fees he is being paid by SK Telecom T1. Faker has won the League of Legends World Championships three times, and looks to be heading towards win number four again this year.
2. Bae ‘Bengi’ Seong Ung
Bae ‘Bengi’ Seong Ung has already enjoyed formidable success at the age of just 23. He formerly played League of Legends for SK Telecom T1, during which he worked with Faker to deliver those World Championship Victories. Bengi is now a major asset to Vici Gaming, in which he plays a ‘Jungler’ role.
3. Lee ‘Wolf’ Jae Wan
Lee ‘Wolf’ Jae Wan also plays LoL for SK Telecom T1, and he was instrumental in their triumph in the League of Legends World Championships in 2016.
4. Bae ‘Bang’ Jun Sik
Bae ‘Bang’ Jun Sik is ranked 4th in the world in terms of League of Legends winnings, and, you’ve guessed it – he’s also a member of SK Telecom T1. He’s amassed over $600K so far and achieved wins in the 2015 and 2016 World Championships, as well as a string of other victories.
5. Lee ‘Duke’ Ho Seong
Lee ‘Duke’ Ho Seong was the top Laner for SK Telecom T1 at the 2016 League of Legends World Championships. He has since moved onto another team, Invictus Gaming, in which he is expected to achieve even more.
6. Kang ‘Blank’ Sun-Gu
Kang ‘Blank’ Sun-Gu is a high earner who has played a role in the success of SKT, and demonstrated his talent when he appeared as a substitute Juggler during the 2016 World Championships.
7. Heo ‘PawN’ Won Seok
Heo ‘PawN’ Won Seok has worked with a variety of League of Legends world-class teams, including Samsung White and Edward Gaming. He is now on team KT Rolster, and expecting to continue to have successes like winning the tiebreaker against World Elite in the LPL quarter finals.
8. Cho ‘Mata’ Se Hyeong
Cho ‘Mata’ Se Hyeong was an important member of Samsung White when they won the World Championships in 2014. He now plays for KT Rolster.
9. Ming ‘ClearLove’ Kai
Ming ‘ClearLove’ Kai has been with Edward Gaming longer than any other player, and has earned well over $300K in winnings.
10. Jang ‘Looper’ Hyeong-seok
