BGMI Ocean Odyssey 3.3 Update: What’s new?
After months of speculation, Krafton India has all the features in the new 3.3 update for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). Are you curious about all the details of the Ocean Odyssey update in BGMI? Well, let us do a deep dive into all the features of the BGMI 3.3 update.
BGMI Ocean Odyssey 3.3 Update: Features and More
The new Ocean Odyssey theme game mode is the first prominent feature in the BGMI 3.3 Update. As the name suggests, players can use multiple elements and powers associated with water in the game. The first feature to note is the new Ocean Palace within the game. These will act as the latest drop points on Erangel’s map. The game has two Ocean Palaces, the first located near Ruins and the other on the river near Mylta.

To enter the Ocean Palace, players can take two paths. The first is to swim underwater until they reach the location. The other method involves using the newly added water tunnel, which acts as a faster path. Once players reach the palace, they can obtain a lot of loot during the match. BGMI has also introduced a new weapon known as the trident. This can only be received in the Ocean Palace on Erangel.

After equipping the trident, players can summon a water tornado that they can control. After the ability has been activated, a swirl of water surrounds the player for 30 seconds in the game. One must note that in each match, the trident will only spawn twice, making it one of the rarest weapons in the game. Within the Ocean Palace, players can also find the respawn card. Players can revive their entire squad after they are knocked down.
Stingrays, New Royale Pass, and more

Similar to the jetpacks available in the previous 3.2 update of BGMI, players can fly this time but using Stingrays. Using the Stringray, players can trap their opponents in water bubbles. Once trapped, players within this bubble will be slowed down and can be knocked out with ease. There are more ocean-related features, such as the water airdrop and Op-blaster.
Finally, there are the Forsaken Ruins. To open the temple’s doors, players must solve a puzzle in front of each door. Once the puzzle is solved, players can access the underwater caves. One can obtain a lot of loot and a portal gun to teleport yourself to the center of the zone.

There is a new UC Up event within the game. Players must go to the events tab to obtain double the UC. Neeraj Chopra, one of India’s gold medalists in the javelin throw during the Olympics, is now a lucky treasure event within BGMI. It is similar to a lucky spin event, but the prizes from the spin cannot be repeated.
BGMI has also introduced the Aquatic Quest Royale Pass A8. Players can unlock various cosmetics within the game, such as the Sea Dream Melody Set. Fans will also receive UC cash back as they unlock more levels within the Royal Pass. Ten new Lamborghini skins will be available within BGMI, along with a new Galadria X-Suit.
