OGA Dota PIT Season 5 Europe/CIS Match Predictions and Betting Analysis
The OGA Dota PIT Season 5 brought eight top-notched teams from Europe and CIS regions for a classic brawl. Surprisingly, the candidates were more than thrilled to accept the challenge despite playing the Dota Pro Circuit 2021-22 (DPC 2021-22) too. It gives us one more round of matches to observe the powerhouses’ power levels and decide which teams are worthy of our Dota 2 bets.

Team OG vs Team Spirit
The OGA Dota PIT Season 5 welcomed only the most classified superstars from EU and CIS. The OG vs Team Spirit match will certainly be splendid to watch. While OG is no longer the OG we know and love, the new generation of OG isn’t too shabby to watch. However, they are up against a recently-crowned International 10 champs, which puts OG at a clear disadvantage.
Team Spirit showed no sign of stopping their winning streak since TI10 as they continue to deliver in the DPC 2021-22. Impressively, Team Spirit continues to expand their already-diverse hero pool, which makes them a tough opponent to draft counters. This effectively forces any opponent facing them to rely sheerly on their in-game performance.
OG as a nurturing team is good but still pales in comparison against the seasoned Team Spirit roster. Hence, the odds are in favor of Team Spirit at x1.27 versus OG at x3.63 returns. My prediction is a clean 2:0 for Spirit (x2.01).
Nigma Galaxy vs Team Secret
The old El Classico between Nigma Galaxy and Team Secret, is becoming a David and Goliath scenario. Nigma has been sloppy in their past matches of DPC 2021-22, which we can overlook since Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi wasn’t available.
On paper, the Nigma line-up is formidable, having been together for two years. Except for Igor “iLTW” Filatov, being the latest addition. Nigma has evolved over the years. Once a team that often ran the four-protect-one strategy, revolving around putting all their stakes on Miracle- to win. It worked in the early days, but eventually became a caveat as rivals make it their objective to shut down Miracle- exclusively. Today, iLTW’s cunning playstyle makes for good diversion from Miracle-, giving Nigma more options when it comes to late game assurance.
As for Team Secret, they are in a nurturing stage after losing two reliable staples. Nonetheless, the Dota 2 odds still reflect well for Team Secret at x1.3 versus Nigma at x3.38 returns. I would predict an “upset” win for Nigma here.
Natus Vincere vs Tundra Esports
Navi and Tundra Esports are decent teams in their own rights, but their DPC 2021-22 performance left many unimpressed. Especially NaVi, whose brand name has often been synonymous with powerhouses.
Despite that, this match can be a good pastime watch, considering both teams are relatively even in this match-up. Expect constant team fights, albeit more chaotic and unpolished. However, the odds certainly don’t agree as such, putting Tundra Esports at much-favorable odds against Navi.
The odds may be a tad inaccurate since NaVi has been extremely underwhelming for a team of veteran players. However, having Tundra Esports at x1.33 while Navi is at x3.21 odds is a bit much. Don’t be afraid to place a long shot singles bet on Natus Vincere here.
Alliance vs Team Liquid
Last but not least, Team Liquid and Alliance in a lower bracket match is certainly a pleasant surprise. Team Liquid has been phenomenal in the DPC2021-22, but Team Secret overwhelmed them this time around. Hence, we anticipate that Alliance has a slim chance against Team Liquid’s bolstered line-up of prodigies. That said, we can at least hope that Alliance gives Team Liquid a run for their money. Alliance’s late-game strategies can be a nuisance to teams that enjoy fast-paced midgame, like Team Liquid.
Thus, say Team Liquid overextends their prime mid-game phase, and Alliance might have a shot at turning the entire game around. Alliance showcased a decent Medusa game, albeit ending with a loss versus complete Nigma. As for odds, Team Liquid is arguably the best EU team in DPC 2021-22, so they have x1.24 odds versus Alliance at x3.87 odds. We hope to get a 3 games series.
While most mentioned teams have revealed the scale of their potential, Nigma remains as the only mystery heading into OGA Dota PIT Season 5. We just haven’t seen Nigma at their best form yet, so these games will certainly be an eye-opener. The odds in today’s selection are courtesy of GG.BET.
