Rating 00Nation’s new CS:GO Roster against the competition

Epitacio “TACO” de Melo and Marcelo “coldzera” David are back at it with a new CSGO roster based in the South American region. The future will tell how good this team will actually be compared to the top CSGO rosters.

We will talk about their potential, what they bring to the table and which tournament will they premier on so do not miss out.

00Nation Current Roster:

  • Marcelo “coldzera” David
  • Santino “try” Rigal
  • Epitacio “TACO” de Melo
  • Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer
  • Bruno “latto” Rebelatto
  • Olavo “chucky” Napoleão – coach

How will 00Nation Cope against Best CSGO Teams in the World?

Both coldzera and TACO are well past their prime, however they were both listed among the best CSGO players in their prime. A couple of years ago, whoever added Marcelo to their roster would have been instantly labeled a contender. However, that is not the case anymore and these guys will have an uphill battle in front of them.

00Nation will be captained by TACO and this is the right move to make from our perspective. Epitacio was never known for flashy kills, but he was always there to support star players to achieve what is necessary in order to win the round. We believe that this was the right move and that TACO will have a lot of success leading the team.

As for the remaining trio, it is important to mention that these guys are very young. try is only 17, while dumau turned 18 recently. Last but not least, latto is only 19 years old. When you look at it from a different perspective, this team is a perfect blend of experience and talent.

All in all, the beginning is definitely going to be hard for 00Nation. This team needs to build cohesion and team play and that does not come easily. They will have to invest a lot of hours into preparing strategies and map executes. Given the fact that they are almost immediately stepping into the action, we are not expecting good results from the get-go as they will have a hard time competing against the best CSGO teams.

When is 00Nation going to compete?

ESL Challenger Valencia 2022 just completed and 00Nation sure gave it a go. They beat the best CSGO team from Brazil, FURIA in an elimination match, but ultimately lost to Sprout. Their next step is an attempt to qualify for IEM Cologne 2022 via the Play-in stage. However, they will not have an easy task in front of themselves as Astralis is awaiting for them on July 5th.

Based on their maiden tournament, the team sure has potential to grow and evolve. But it’s gonna be a long long road ahead. One thing is certain, 00Nation has been thrown to the wolves. They will be tested in every aspect of CSGO. It is going to be interesting to see whether coldzera and TACO still have it in them to beat the best teams without breaking a sweat.
