
TFT Esports: Monsters Attack! – 2023 Season
Riot Games have announced their renewed partnership with Wisdom Gaming for Teamfight Tactics: Monsters Attack. Wisdom will, once again, handle all tournament organisation and broadcast production for the NA competitive series.
Jaycie Gluck, SCP at Wisdom Gaming, also commented:
“We’re thrilled to be back and working with Riot Games for a sixth season as the official broadcast production partner for NA TFT”.
The event will qualify the best of the best NA representatives for this Set’s Championship. Now let’s get into all the nitty gritty details the TFT Competitive Series has in store for us.

Path to the NA TFT Regional Finals
- Defender Cup: January 14th-15th & January 21st-22nd
- Corrupted Cup: February 11th-12th & February 18th-19th
Early in 2023, the Defender Cup and the Corrupted Cup kick off the competitive scene. The top 4 players from each Cup qualify for the Mid-Set Finale. Other participants will also have a chance to earn Qualifier Points.
Qualifier Points
Participating players are awarded Qualifier Points based on their performance in the three Cups previously listed. The top 24 earners from the Defender and Corrupted Cup combined will qualify for the Monsters Attack! Mid-Set Finale.
The top 10 earners from all three of the Cups combined will qualify for the Monsters Attack! NA Regional Finals
Monsters Attack! Mid-Set Finale – March 3rd – 5th 2023
The Mid-Set finale will feature the top 4 players from the previous two Cups as well as the top 24 players from Qualifier Points. The first 4 players directly qualify for the NA Regional Finals. The 1st place will receive an invite to the Monsters Attack! Championship.
The next three events in the season are as follows:
- Mecha Cup (April 15th-16th & April 22nd-23rd) – First NA competitive event after a mid-set update. The top 4 placed players directly qualify for the Regional Finals.
- NA Last Chance Qualifier (April 29th-30th) – Invited players get one last shot at their chance to qualify for the Regional Finals. The best 2 players from the event will earn a spot.
- Monsters Attack! NA Regional Finals (May 12th-14th) – This three-day event will determine the representative player for NA at the Monsters Attack! Championship.
Return of Leaderboard Snapshots
Maintaining a high rank on the official TFT leaderboard will not go unnoticed. Once again, Leaderboard Points will be awarded to the top players based on the weekly snapshots taken from the TFT ladder. Snapshots will be taken on a weekly basis on Wednesdays at 12:01 AM PT.
A total of 4 players (2 players from the Set 8, 2 players from the Set 8.5) from the overall leaderboards will qualify for the Monsters Attack! NA Regional Finals.
