Aghanim’s Labyrinth: Continuum Conundrum Event and Pass Drilldown
Christmas came early this year for Dota 2 players as the Aghanim’s Labyrinth The Conundrum Continuum comes packed with goodies. From flashy Arcana skins to a thrilling new event, the Aghanim’s Labyrinth is Valve’s brainchild for this Winter.
Let’s dig into it.
Aghanim’s Labyrinth: The Conundrum Continuum Event
The wise ole Aghanim is off to no good again as he messed with the Continuum Device without reading the handy manual. In Aghanim’s defence, nobody enjoys reading manuals, so here we are once again, being expected to clean up his mess. Rest assured that Aghanim has rewards in store for our helping hands. Plus the Conundrum Continuum event will certainly be more exciting than your average pub match anyways, so I see this as an absolute win!
What is the Aghanim’s Labyrinth: The Conundrum Continuum?
The Aghanim’s Labyrinth: The Conundrum Continuum features a game mode where a team of four players work together to pass stages and eventually reach the final boss.
While the new event is the second iteration of Aghanim’s Labyrinth trilogy, it’s unlike the last one, where Aghanim was the final boss. We see a new array of monsters, but hailing as the final boss is the Primal Beast.

The Aghanim’s Labyrinth picking phase
Fun fact, before the event announcement, Dota 2 data miners initially found references to the Primal Beast, which they assumed is a new hero. Turns out it’s just a Frankenstein monstrosity of the official hero, Lifestealer, that is currently rampaging the event. That said, we don’t need to cross out the Primal Beast or Aghanim himself from the list of upcoming heroes just yet.
Stages in the Aghanim’s Labyrinth The Conundrum Continuum
Nevertheless, the Conundrum Continuum includes a series of stages that players have to pass by achieving various objectives. For instance, the first stage ‘Mango Orchard’ is essentially a mango and gold frenzy. Players collect mangoes, gold and item drops, which will be useful for item purchases in following stages.
The second stage ‘Hard Boiled’ involves clearing creep waves that appear out of portals, and you can expect further stages to be exponentially difficult.
Pro tip: Pick a carry hero that scales off six-slotted inventory since you will be getting a lot of gold. For instance, Drow Ranger with supports, such as Ogre Magi and Omniknight. Omniknight is reliable for his abilities to use Heavenly Grace, which is handy for sustaining Drow’s glass cannon build. Ogre Magi’s Bloodlust serves as attack and movement speed buff for allies to maneuver swiftly since monsters are chasing consistently.
Lastly, a durable tanker, such as Axe or Centaur to diverge the attention off your main damage dealer.
Aghanim’s Labyrinth The Conundrum Continuum Rewards
The Conundrum Continuum event couldn’t be merrier without exclusive rewards for participating. Playing the event grants you points for leveling up the Battle Pass. Besides the top-notch rewards, such as Drow Arcana, Mirana Persona, and a Hoodwink Immortal set, there are other easier-to-gain rewards such as Immortal treasures, set treasures, and loading screen bundles as you level up the Battle Pass. At level 1, you earn yourself a decent ward and courier skin to fit the event theme.
Although, if you are eyeing the fancier rewards, you might want to purchase the Level 100 Bundle for Battle Pass to get a headstart.
Aghanim’s Labyrinth Battle Pass reward: The Mirana of Nightsilver Persona
At level 135, the easiest to redeem reward is the Mirana Persona. The Mirana persona shares resemblance to the Mirana character in The Dragon’s Blood, Netflix series. This came after Dragon Knight got his iconic persona in the Nemestice event last Summer. Then, Marci joined the Dota-verse last update to reunite this band of misfits.
From a Dota 2 skin enthusiast’s perspective, the Mirana persona’s selling point is her customized Starfall effect that also greatly resembles the Netflix show.
