Special Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Editions unveiled
Call of Duty fans were happy to hear that Treyarch will launch the new expansion on October 12. Less than four months from now, Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will hit the stores and it comes in different flavors. Players get to choose between the three editions available, each with a different price tag and perks. They can opt in for the physical and digital versions, but also the special editions which grant bonus items, characters and much more.
Enjoy the Complete Package with Digital Deluxe Edition
This version of Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will include the game, as well as the Black Ops Pass. This will grant players access to the bonus zombies experience, which goes by the name of “Classified” right from the start. Players will explore three additional new zombie maps, and play multiplayer games on 12 maps.
Four exclusive blackout characters are offered in this package, which also comes with 2,400 Call of Duty Points. It is the second best offer, after the Digital Deluxe Enhanced Edition. The difference between the regular Deluxe Edition and the Enhanced one is that the latter offers a massive 8,500 Call of Duty Points.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Pro Edition
Another option worth considering by the fans is the CoD: Black Ops 4 edition available at select retailers. It includes the game, the Black Op Pass, as well as the new multiplayer maps and the “Classified” bonus zombies experience. On top of this and the exclusive blackout characters, those who choose this edition will gain access to 10 specialist patches and three collectible art cards featuring zombies. They only get 1,100 Call of Duty Points, but in exchange will get the CoD: Black Ops 4 Steelbook and Pop Socket.
What is the Black Ops Pass?
The Digital Deluxe Edition, the Digital Deluxe Enhanced Edition and the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Pro Edition include the Black Ops Pass. There’s a good reason for why developers chose to add this to every single pack, because it has plenty to offer. It is an innovative way to tackle the post-launch content and sets the bar high for future games. CoD fans will appreciate the fact that the new expansion will make the live season more dynamic by adding new maps and content frequently.
Until now, players were used to having four distinct content drops. From this point onward, content distribution will be spread evenly so there is plenty to look forward to. The zombies experiences also promise to be memorable and they come in three distinct chapters. IX, Voyage of Despair and Blood of the Dead will be available immediately after the launch of the game. Players who simply purchase the game will be able to play them right away, while Black Ops Pass buyers also gain access to Classified. This is just the tip of the iceberg, because four more zombie modes will be released after launch day.
