ECS Season 8 Dallas Finals – Group A
- AVANGAR
- Evil Geniuses
- Liquid
- NiP
What to Expect From Group A?
To be honest, this should be a straightforward group. Both Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses are miles ahead NiP and AVANGAR. However, we will see a crazy fight between these two teams for the #1 spot. In my personal opinion, I believe that Liquid is a much better team once compared to Evil Geniuses and they will prove that on ECS Season 8 Dallas Finals.
Even though AVANGAR played in the grand final of StarLadder Berlin Major, I simply cannot see them perform on that level ever again. I would be surprised if AVANGAR beats Liquid or Evil Geniuses.
Lastly, NiP looked solid in their last couple of tournaments, but the competition here is too much for them. This is why I believe that they will not stand a chance against top contenders from their group. However, I would not be surprised if Ninjas in Pyjamas completely stomp AVANGAR as I believe that they are a much better team once compared to Jame and co.

ECS Season 8 Dallas Finals – Group B
- Astralis
- fnatic
- MiBR
- Sharks
Group B Expectations
This is a very easy group for the best CSGO team ever, Astralis. When it comes to CSGO betting, I would bet a lot of money on Astralis to top their group. They have no competition here. Even though fnatic is ranked as the third-best CSGO team in the world, they are simply not good enough to compete against Astralis.
However, both MiBR and Sharks looked really bad in their recent events. I just cannot see them beat Astralis or fnatic. All in all, fnatic should have an easy group as well, especially if they can defeat MiBR in their opening match. However, opening matches are played in the best of 1 format, so I would not rule out MiBR in this one.
Lastly, Sharks are by far the worst team on ECS Season 8 Dallas Finals. Lack of competition definitely made things easy for Sharks. I do not believe that they would qualify if they were from the European region. To conclude, I do not think that Sharks will win a single match here in the US. They will be amongst the first teams to pack their bags. Astralis will definitely stomp them in the opening match.
