Fortnite Season 7 Comes to OG – What’s Hitting the Game?
Fortnite OG has been one of the biggest events we’ve ever seen for the game. Bringing back the Chapter 1 build of the game has gotten a record Fortnite player count, but it isn’t staying still for very long. The game is blasting its way through the original Fortnite seasons. The next one up is going to be Fortnite Season 7.
This next update is taking us into Winterfest (or at least a ton of snow) for the OG map. It’s only been days since we saw Season 6 get added to the game, but Fortnite Season 7 releases very soon. It’s difficult to stay on top of all the Fortnite OG changes with this breakneck pace. What can we expect to come to the game when the update hits?
What’s Coming in Fortnite OG Season 7 and 8?
The next update for Fortnite OG is going to cover Fortnite Season 7, but also 8. The new update will include both. The map is going to follow the frosty and winter themed part of the seasons. The items on the other hand will throw us through the highlights of both Fortnite seasons.
In terms of map changes, we’re going to see a considerable amount of the map taken over by snow. This is where we got the snow biome first introduced. It’ll also see the pirate camps come to the game, pus the new POI Frosty Flights. Getting new seasons worth of map changes every week has made the Fortnite OG map a lot of fun.
There are quite a few new items scheduled at the moment too. This is what we’re expecting in the Fortnite Season 7 release:
- Flint-Knock Pistol
- Quad Launcher
- Poison Dart Trap
- Glider Redeploy
- Buried Treasure
Those are some of the new items. There’s new mobility scheduled for Fortnite Season 7 too! This will be the X-4 Stormwing. Those are the planes that Epic has been teasing coming back for quite a while. Plus, the Pirate Cannon, an item on the map where you can fire teammates quite a distance.
Fortnite OG S7 and S8 Release Date
That’s what’s coming for Fortnite Season 7. The whole update is scheduled for November 16. That’s when we’ll get all of this new content. Epic has been throwing in some wild cards in these updates too though. Featuring some content from more modern Fortnite seasons such as the Grapple Glove. Things could definitely change by the time we get the update.
